My 1993 impreza has the check engine light on. how
OBD II, didnt come out till late 96 ..so if your vehicle is a 97 or better then, you have this system, but since you have a 93, you shuld have a OBD I... But some repair shops still have that availiable, and they can reset it for you..Or you can try unhooking the battery for a few minutes and then go test drive it.. If the light comes back on, then you may have a problem somewhere...But if it doesnt, then it was just a glitch within the electrical system, an you'll be fine..Goodluck...
How do i fix deployed air bag on a mustang so i
To fix it that it can be driven, take a utility knife and cut the bag away. To fix it, unhook the battery cable and wait 30 minutes (just to be safe)and replace the airbag unit with a new one or one from a junkyard (just a few bolts from the back of the steering wheel)
Looking for the correct timeing marks for crank
easy money, the crank pully cog has a little hash mark on one of the nipples and that lines strait up and down with the hask mark on the tup of the oil pump directly below the crank sensor, the two cam ullys each have a hash mark on the outer edges and the both align strait up and down with the marks on the rear timing covers.
MY 1993 SUBARU IMPREZA L SOMETIMES LOOSES POWER
This sounds more like an electical problem in the fuel delivery system. Check all the connectors on the fuel pump, fuel pump relay plus generally have a good feel and shake of all connectors. A determined effort will find the problem connector is there is one.
1993 Subaru Impreza the ABS light came on and when
Hi
Thanks
for using FixYa. To
start with check the Speed Sensor on the front and rear. Usually the issue is
with the rear speed sensor which can be replaced easily and will cost you
around $25-$40. There is a sensor at the top of the rear
differential for the ABS system. When the ABS sensor on the diff goes bad the
Speedo no longer will work, the odometer stops recording mileage and both brake
and ABS light comes on. You also loose O/D or "Lock-up" in the torque
converter. The sensor is inexpensive and can be changed in about 30 mins. Please
do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further
assistance.
Thanks

Wheres thermostate on 93 subura imprezia
Underneath the front of car, the bottom radiator hose is connected to it. Use the drain plug on the drivers side of the radiator to empty it then take the bottom hose off. You then have direct access to the thermostat.
Accessory jack on my 2002 subaru impreza wrx quit
have you checked for a supply to the middle contact inside the socket ,if you have no feed then look at the fuse holder for burning and corrosion. Then check for a feed to the fuse holder,if no feed to the fuse holder check the big fuses near the battery .if they appear ok then take it to a garage because the other work required is beyond the scope of the average weekend mechanic. If you have a feed to the socket then check outer casing for a earth ,but when checking for a feed use the door strap bar for the earth or better still a length of wire from the battery.
I have a 1992 1.5L Impreza and the headlights seem
yes you can adjust it, open the engine bay, just behind the headlights you should see a long extension coming out with either a short phillips head screw driver or 8mm spanner you can adjust it, turn it left to lower and right to higher the light, try do it infront of a wall at night with the lights on so you can work out where you want the height.
