Disconnect the big cable that runs from the starter relay to the starter on the relay end. Then get a voltmeter and ground one end and then put the positive end on the big relay terminal that you disconnected the starter cable from. Get inside your car and turn your ignition switch to the start position. The voltmeter should show that voltage is being sent to the starter. If voltage is being sent through the big terminal going to the starter, the starter is bad. There are no other parts between the big cable of the starter and the solenoid. Often a couple of taps or hits on the round case of the starter can wake it up for a few last starts. Although the car is older, some parts offer a Lifetime warranty for a few dollars more. $5 or $10 more for never having to pay for a starter for that car again can save you money.

the bolt in the middle of it is not an adjustment its just torqued down tight . the oil in the lifter is the auto adjustment . if its tapping then the issue is the lifter is bad or stuck. you have to remove the head to take it out . if you do . then do them all. if you cam is worn out it will have marks an rounded as will the lifter bottom.

change air filter and fuel filter clean fuel injectors.faulty coolant temperature sensor will cause cold start problems.

you must take it for a ride about 1 hour its scary but your computer has to adjust then it will pur good luck

Is it the lighter itself or is it the receptacle the lighter goes in? Some times the lighter has to be replaced as the coil burns out .and it could be a blown out fuse as well.

Get your self a D or C battery fully charge. Set aside the cables that you think it goes to the speakers. Now grab a pair of cables that you think it goes to one speaker, it don't matter if it's from, back, right or left, we are going to figure that out with the battery. Grab on of the cable, if you think the cable goes to the positive, connect the cable to positive (battery) and the other one just tap the bottom of the battery, you should hear a thump sound. Now you know to which speaker those cable belong to, but you need to be sure which is negative and which is positive. For that, take out the door carpet, or wherever the speaker's at, and expose the speaker, try again with the battery, if the thump sound makes the speaker go in, you need to swap the cables, if it goes out, you have them correct.
