CAUTION
High pressure lines deliver diesel fuel under extreme pressure from the injection pump to the fuel injectors. This may be as high as 23,200 psi.(1600 bar). Use extreme caution when inspecting for high pressure fuel leaks. Fuel under this amount of pressure can penetrate skin causing personal injury or death. Inspect for high pressure fuel leaks with a sheet of cardboard. Wear safety goggles and adequate protective clothing when servicing fuel system.

How do i drain deisel fuel from my 04 liberty?
Hi, I would get a syphen hose and fish it in to the tank and drain it out that way. Anouther way is to use the fuel pump to pump it out. Connect a hose to fuel line. Use caution when doing this. (high pressure) 60 to 80 psi.

Stalling when turn back on
all stalls end in CEL check engine light on. that is normal
but CEL glow. when engine running , means you had a failure, and it stored DTC error codes, so scan it.
lots of causes. huge list.
get a tune up , tops list.
SCAN it to be sure all sensors work. running.
all fuses in car good.
by stalls , i assume the engine stalls and engine RPM is 0 RPM.
the stall cause the whole dash to light up, all the warning lamps come
on (self test) oil , charge , CEL. come on.
what is important is the stall and the cause.
i will tell you the 3 ways.
lost electrical power to engine EFI system (seems not)
bad engine, (lost compression hot)?
bad spark , spark died.?
bad fueling, lost all fueling (starves and stalls or floods and misfires horribly and stalls (black spark plug tips are big time clue)
if non eof the rings a bell.?
get the car serviced.
this car is newer nicer car, you (we) can scan and drive and log data.
allowing faster easy diagnosis.

After my 03 jeep liberty warms up to normal, the
It's not a gas pedal, it's an air pedal. Fuel injected engines are all about air flow at idle. take off the intake snorkel and check out your throttle body. You may just need a new throttle position sensor, or the Idle solenoid that regulates idle air flow is stuck. The computer will try to compensate, but it can only do so much.
