Check on eBay, you can find them modules on there for a LOT less than at parts stores! Of course it may take about a week or so to get it! Once you get it, you may can replace it yourself? Try looking up a video on youtube or of course once you have it you may can identify it yourself under the hood of the vehicle and replace it. Most just plug right in, but I can't recall right off on that model. Trust me, google can be your friend. :)

Have you tried a different power cord or car charging adapter. Maybe it isn't your car that is at fault.

The anti-theft system won't allow it to start . You replaced parts without knowing what would happen . The key has a transponder is the head of the key . The module that controls anti-theft doesn't see the transponder code an locked up the vehicle . Your best bet ,have it towed to a qualified repair shop . You don't have the tools or knowledge to fix it .

start with check fluid level --cooling fans operation --water pump to start

Sounds like a fan issue. The engine and A/C are only being cooled when the vehicle is moving and air is flowing across the radiator and condenser. I would start car with hood up and check that fans cycle on as the engine gets warmer and a/c is turned on. Don't let it get too hot, and keep clear of fans and moving parts.

There seems a distinct possibility your suspicion is well founded... Fluid quantity is usually quite small so a small leak will soon result in a drop in the level. It isn't unusual for a steering rack to appear wet and oily from a "sweat" or two without actually leaking and there might even be a drop or two of fluid gathered there but it should be obvious to an experienced mechanic what is a leak and what can be ignored. It is possibly a coincidence and the rack began leaking suddenly during the test but such a leak would be obvious by a fairly constant dripping and a clearly visible oozing of fresh fluid. The presence of a serious long-term leak is indicated by a distinct lack of road dirt around and below the leak site as the constant flow will wash it clean - and of course the reservoir will need regular topping up.

get it serviced... in a shop they migth. 1: remove grills and panels in fender to gain acess to the cable then with 3 people (yes) 1: pulls the handle. 2: other pulls side if the cable. at above found easy access point 3: other tries to lever hood open with plastic pry bar.( gently) if that dont work the latch must be attacked directly, grills off.
