Check the headlamp relay in the under hood fuse / relay box . The location should be shown on the inside of the lid. Also check HIGH / LOW HEADLAMP relay in the same under hood relay / fuse box .
The headlamps are controlled by the body control module (PZM). The battery positive voltage (B+) is applied at all times through the HDLPS fuse at the switch side of the headlamp relay via CKT 340 (ORN).
Battery positive voltage (B+) is also applied at all times through the RADIO/PHONE fuse to the coil side of the high/low beam headlight relay via CKT 40 (ORN/BLK). Both relays are controlled by the PZM at separate output cavities.
Do you know what a relay is ?
How To Test Relays EricTheCarGuy
With car off, this light should flash on slowly. If on steady, might try doing a reset. Disconnect the battery for 1 hour, hook up and see what happens.
Check under the seat for broken wires. Forward and backwards is the function most used and causes the wires to bend back and forth. you may need to remove the seat for inspection or you may be lucky and see the problem just by raising the seat as high as it will go.
This is due to a bad switch or seatmotor, the seat uses diffrent motors to control the seat so seat can still tilt but not move back or forward, this best way to know which ic the problem is with a testlight, hold the switch to move forward or back and test for power and a ground to that motor, if theres power and ground then motor is bad, if theres no power then switch is bad, hope this helps.
Shop around your local car and body shops, they can lead you to upholstery shops for cars and have it replaced. Custom car places would be a place to start.
Unless the vehicle has an after-market anti-theft system (in which case you will have to have it removed), the anti-theft system can be reset by placing the key in the driver door and turning it towards "unlock," then holding it there for 10 seconds or more.
If someone installed an after-market anti-theft system on the vehicle, you're pretty much on your own to disable it.
One suggestion is to change the "blower resistor". To check if the blower resistor has gone bad, check if the blower fan works if set to "Max" and does not work if set on a slower speed.
If the fan speeds all work but the air coming out of the vent is not cold, the problem is likely because the rubber gaskets connecting all of the tubes for the compressor, condensor, of the A/C system have shrunk because of non-use. When the gaskets (o-rings) shrink, the freon leaks out and the system can no longer cool.
You our can take it to a professional for a refill ($50 to $150 I think) The oil in the refill mixture will swell the rubber o-rings and they will stay swelled if you use it regularly.
You can also buying a do-it-yourself system from an auto parts store. ($50 including can of freon and adaptor). There are very specific instructions and some people claim the anti-leak additives can damage the compressor but, it may be the best option for a car worth about $3000.
