White smoke coming from the exhaust of a vehicle is almost always burning radiator fluid. Go in to a local shop and have them drain the oil and check it for any sign of water. If you are a DIY kind of person, drain the oil into a clear sided bucket and check to see if there is any separation in the fluid(oil is heavier so water will rise to the top).
If it so happens that you have water in your oil the most likely culprits are cracked cylinder heads, or a blown head gasket.

There is always a compression test. You can check to see if there is any coolant in your oil, it will look like a milkshake or a rootbeer float, you can also try replacing the thermostat to see if that helps with the cooling problem.

The light on just means you are not passing emissions. not a big deal unless it's flashing.
Go to Autozone, they will scan test for codes for free.

Try Spraying Some Throttle plate cleaner into the throttle bore & see if it tries to start?? If Yes Most likely fuel pump died.

on top of transmission where final drive housing is.

well i am not saying that you are wrong but i am a GM mechanic, and these northstar headgaskets are what make me money. you will not be able to pull the engine through the top like you can for most cars, it will not fit! and yes you do have to pull the engine to do a headgasket because on them northstars, you cannot just pull the valve covers off, you have to lift the front side up and twist them off, and in order to do this you cannot do it with the engine in the car! you have to life the chassis off of the car! not only tht but the reason these head gaskets go bad is because there is not enough meet on the head bolt threads! so you will need to redo the threads on the block so this wont happen in the future! i hope this helps!

Your belt may be the wrong length. It is too long. Where did you get it from?

Sounds like an internal problem. To be sure you will have to drop the transmission pan and check the color o fthe fluid. It should be pink. If it is white then you are going to have to get the transmission rebuilt.

HO2S + heated o2/oxygen sensor 1..2 = bank 1 sensor #2. Good Luck. That should cause the vehicle to die however.. contact if you need more help.

did you accidently unplug a rear speed sensor

you have to pull the steering wheel u will find a steel plate take, remove,u will now see your turn signal switch, remove screws. note u will have to take apart you steering colume, follow the wires down the colume and unplug it, it will take some time and work to get it out

get a gun & shoot it .they were a piece of **** when put in. or find someone to install a new alarm.

you probably have a pinhole in one of the nylon fuel connector lines. Take the engine cover off and start the engine and see if you can visually see a leak.

check battery first if its good then check starter wirering and fuses if thats good do a test on the starter motor

Are you sure it is the right model no.?I don't think there is any anti theft system with that model no.Please give me the make..

4.5 And 4.9L Engines

1. Remove the air cleaner.
2. Remove the TP sensor connector.
3. Unscrew the 2 TP sensor attaching screws and retainers, and remove the TP sensor.

To install:

1. With the throttle valve in the normal closed idle position, install the TP sensor on the throttle body assembly.
2. Install 2 TP sensor attaching screws with retainers. Do not tighten the screw until the TP sensor is adjusted.
3. Install the TP Sensor connector. Adjust the TP Sensor and perform the idle learn procedure.
4. To Perform the TP sensor adjustment.
   1. Disable the generator by grounding the green harness connector plug adjacent to the generator.
   2. Start the engine, enter diagnostics, and select PCM override PS103 'ISC Actuator'
   3. Press the 'COOLER' button on the CCP to retract the ISC Actuator. This action will disengage the A/C compressor and command the EGR 'OFF'. The Climate control center display will change from '50 to 00'. The ISC Actuator will slowly retract (about 20 seconds) to a fully retracted position. Verify that the throttle lever is resting on the minimum idle speed screw. With the ISC Actuator plunger fully retracted, disconnect the ISC harness.
   4. Select the PCM data PD01, 'TP Sensor', while still in PCM override PS03. Note the throttle position (in degrees) displayed on PCM parameter PD01.
   5. (-0.5° TO + 0.5°) No TP sensor adjustment required. Reattach the ISC Actuator harness and disconnect the grounding wire at the generator.
   6. TP Sensor (-10.0° TO -0.6°) or TP Sensor (+ 0.6° TO + 90.0°) TP Sensor adjustment required.
5. With the engine 'OFF' and the ignition 'ON', reenter diagnostics and select PCM override PS03 'ISC Actuator'. Press the 'COOLER' button to retract the ISC Actuator the minimum air setting.
   1. Loosen the TP sensor screws just enough to permit the sensor to be rotated. Open the throttle slightly and allow the throttle lever to snap shut against the minimum air screw. Adjust the TP sensor so the parameter display is 0°. Tighten the TP sensor mounting screws with the sensor in the adjusted position. Recheck the parameter to be sure the TP sensor parameter is (-0.5° to + 0.5).
   Install the air cleaner.
