Windshield wipers will not stop working
If you can get to the wiper motor board and wiring connections, blow everything out with low preasure air and spray the hell out of everything with CRC QD ELECTRONIC CLEANER. It's fast drying. repeat 2 or 3 times. (make sure there is no power to the motor)This trick has saved me hundreds of $ on many master control switches and LCM's. Contacts could have corrosion on them. It's worth a $10.00 try before hundreds in repairs. Otherwise it could be the multi function switch in the directional lever on the column. Spray that too and blow it out. Let me know how you make out

Try pulling codes
To pull codes, put the key to on position without starting and of the three buttons on the right of speedo cluster hold down the right and left button for a few minutes until the speedo screen changes. Alternately you can get the codes pulled from autozone etc. for free.
If you are getting IPM b0429, it could be a control module. Google "b0429 cadillac forums" for more information.
Are alternator enter changeable
Not sure if I get the question. Yes alternators can be replaced from another car, however you want to make sure that replacement alternator has same or equivalent part number. I have had not very good luck with buying from salvage ebay seller (part dead on arrival, seller refunded the money though). I ended up getting a a no brand from autozone for about $150, and it has held up just fine for over a year.
If you are looking to change the alternator because of it getting oiled, trying soaking the alternator with brakeclean (chlorine free) cleaner and driving a good distance, this might solve your problem.
Losing coolant, no leak, not overheating
That would relatively normal usage. Coolant is 50% water so repeated heating to near boiling is going to have an effect. Unless you are adding by the gallon, I wouldn't worry.
Oil in coolant
This is usually caused by a cracked head, which allows the oil to seep into the coolant and vise versa.
Flow gates donnot open
Possible leak in vacuum hose. Cracked or broken. May even have fallen off a port somewhere.Try to connect a vacuum gauge to the auto and try switching to different vents and watch for low reading. this should help to isolate it to a local area. Sometimes a fast idle will also tell of same problem
Coolant reservoir cap
Simply press down on cap and turn counterclockwise. It'll come off like a regular radiator cap. 1.5 seconds
