Flywheel replacement
Easiest way to replace it, since it its a front wheel drive car, would be to remove the engine. most times its easier to remove the engine and transmission as one unit, then seperate them after they are removed, because there will be bolts that you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET TO. This is a very long process, but to basically sum it up, and im sure to leave something out, so you will have to use your own judgement. Remove exhause manifold, fuel lines, front tires, rotors, brakes, tie rods, loosen nut on ball joints, loosen and remove bolts holding spindles to your struts, remove both front spindles. remove your cv axles, disconnet all sensors from wiring harness, remove the starter, remove motor mounts and transmission mounts. Remove anything that would break or bend when you lift out the motor and transmission, this alone will take a complete day for the average mechanic with no lift or air tools. once you have engine/transmisson removed, seperate by removing the engine to transmisson bolts. Then you will see bolts mounting the flyweel to the engine. Remove and replace, then put everything back. This will take another day. Then you can plan on spending 1 day to a week trying to find out what you have hooked up wrong, fixing broken bolts, etc.etc. TOW IT TO A SHOP, SPEND THE CASH AND LET THEM DEAL WITH THE HEADACHES. Again im sure you I have left lots of things out, so this process is way longer than just what I have said.
