My door open light is
go to a dealer and ask the parts guy to sell you two door switches for your car. this screws or snaps into the door jamb. when you have the new one in your hand you will see how to take the old one out. most likely it is the driver's door as it gets the most use. not a parts store item, have to go to a dealer.
once you know how to remove them, if it turns out it was not the driver door just go around the car removing and disconnecting them one at a time until you disconnect the one that makes the light go out. then put your other new switch in that door. you may just want to replace all of them at once.

sounds like a stop lamp switch bad or piece that is in pedal at switch, check brake pdl to see if a round grommet is still stopping the brake light switch, these dry rott crack and fall out.
Radiator building too much pressure.
if coolant is ok, try by changing radiator cap. it may be bad. another possibility is that
either you did not get all the air out of the system,,,or possibly have a blown head gasket.
I have just purchased a
Was there bad wear on the front tires that you had replaced? An experienced mechanic would have seen that and checked for other problems, for instance, worn tie rods, worn ball joints, etc. Many shops will check this out at minimal charge, or even for free ( I know I will do it for free if I'm slow). Check around, but if you intend to fix it yourself, please tell the garage owner, and let him make a couple of bucks for diagnosis. Good luck!
Engine missis at 2-2 half
Ok, if the car is misfiring it probably has a bad air/fuel mixture which can cause fouled spark plugs. The causes of a bad air/fuel mixture would could be a bad oxygen sensors or a bad engine coolant temp sensor. But that car is known for having bad head gaskets. What is probably happening is coolant and/or oil is leaking into the combustion chamber. you can check under the cars engine, where the head meets the block, for oil or coolant leaks where they attach. Or check the coolant for CO2 with a CO2 tester (found at auto parts store) and check for low oil. If it tests positive for CO2 in the coolant then its a blown head gasket. once you get the problem fixed you will probably need new spark plugs and possibly a catalytic converter (the longer it misfires, the more fuel will be burned on the cat filter and it will enventually melt)
When going over bumps it
These sounds like something is going on underneath the front of your subaru. The usual suspects will be the arm controls, stabilizers even axles, let a mechanic look at it, sounds dangerous. thank you!
Does anyone have instructions on how to change out
first of all remove fnt tires and the tie rods need to come off both wheels ..ther are only 2 or 4 bolts that hold rack in place but the power steering lines need to come off and unplug electric connections drain the fluid frothe system and por in fresh fluid till it comes out clean..
after the rack is removed the insde tie rods need to be removed and install on new rack.all this in a very cramped area and very dirty ...you have to have alot of paitence and worth the money to have it done...ask around....you might find a cheaper rate
I have a 1992 Legacy that I have to hold the gas
Okay. If the problem occurs when the engine is cold, check for leaking fuel injectors by doing a fuel system pressure bleed down test. A leaking injector will drip a lot of extra fuel into cylinder and cause it to rich misfire until enough air can mix in to lean it out. (Which you are supplying with wide open throttle). If the problem occurs mainly with the engine warm, check the engine coolant temp sensor and the intake air temp sensor. If either of these sensors is stuck at full cold, the computer will send too much fuel to the injectors for a warm start and again flood the engine.
Can you install turbo charge
Hi
It is possible but to be honest the cost involved and the work to do it does not really justify fitting one. If you are looking for power increase there are other much cheaper methods of getting good BHP from these engines, such as twin carburetters, in fact it would be cheaper to buy carbs and you would get a hell of a lot more power from then than a regular turbo.
Hope this helps

Heater working intermitantly and car
first you need to check the level of the radiator fluid sounds like it could be low . if it is add some but also look for signs of where it might be going if none found suspect head gasket very common on these motors. wish you luck
