Where is the transmission dipstick??

It is usually between the engine and the back wall(firewall). It says transmission right on it however some cars are made now where you have to take it to the dealer to get it checked out.If you have the owner's manual, that may help.Good luck! Greg

My 2005 Suzuki Reno won't

Two common possibilities; no fuel or no spark. Neither of these are that tough to check.
Pull any one of the spark plug leads off of the plug. Position it so the open end is close to the engine block, chassis or other obviously electrically grounded point. Have someone crack the engine for several seconds while you watch for spark. If the insulator is very deep, you may not see one and then you need to stick (carefully) a screwdriver into the plug and watch the shaft of it for spark. If you have a spark, put the lead back on the plug.
Now, finding a point to check for fuel. Most fuel injected cars have a connector (port) on or near the fuel rail that supplies the injectors with fuel. It looks a lot like a tire valve but different size and DON'T confuse the Air Conditioning connectors - you would be bleeding off refrigerant. If you can't tell the difference, ask a friend. Either of these connectors may have a cap over the valve.
After a start-attempt is made, there should be pressure in the fuel line. Once you have found the right port, with you face turned away or protected, briefly press the valve's center pin to see if it will squirt fuel.
If you have fuel, then I think you are better off having the car looked at since there are several things that could now be at fault and it would require more knowledge (and a little equipment) to pursue them.

2005 Suzuki Forenza timing belt breakage

hi im not sure on this particular model but there a few easy ways to check.... take the spark plugs out, remove the broken belt, shine a light down the holes and look for dammdge, if you cant see anything you can turn the crank but it is a tricky job because you can ruin the engine so if your unsure get a mechanic to do it.. or your other alternative is to remove the head and have a look but you will need a new head gasket kit, timing belt and tensioner kit etc .. it is important that you do not turn the engine over when the belt is disconected in any way UNTIL you know for sure that valves wont hit pistons, even bending a valve will not be very noticable but when its all back together you will deffinately notice and will have to pull it all back apart

Heater will not work. Blower will not come on.

Did you check the fuses by eye or measure the voltage with a meter? There may be a separate fuse panel in the engine compartment as well as in the interior. Look for a fuse marker Accessories too. The blower, radio, etc are controlled by the access. circuit.

Steering warning light on 2005 suzuki reno

Speed Sensitive Power Steering
(SSPS) Warning Light
If your vehicle has Speed Sensitive Power
Steering (SSPS), this warning light will
come on briefly when you turn the ignition
to ON as a check to show you the bulb is
working.
Then it should go out after a few seconds.
If the warning light does not come on, have
it fixed so it will be able to warn you if there
is a problem.
If the warning light stays on, or comes on
while you are driving, the SSPS system
may not be working. If this happens, see
your SUZUKI dealer for service.

Holden Viva- Automatic transmission troubles.

Hey mate, Had exactly the same problem. Suggest you take the car to your local auto transmission repair centre (not holden) and they can check the electrical diagnostics - if it the Transmission inhibitor Switch (as it was on mine - if so should cost you no more than 1 hour labour and about $75 - $95 for the switch.
