use to be able to smack out old stud then put new one on and use lug nut to set in place now need to remove hub and replace hub [since you have it off replace with new ] or press out old and press in new

The computer doesn't have any voltage regulator in it, the regulator is a stand alone unit under the hood on the firewall I think. A picture of your cars voltage regulator is below, is that what you replaced?

It varies. The low side is the bigger line. Usually the fitting is on the compressor, the drier, or in the line. The high side is the thinner line.

I've seen trim tools on Amazon. You never know what's available on You-tube for show and tell. Maybe check Instructables, a cool site.

If the fuses are still good, most likely will need a new cluster or computer which both will be hard to come by on something that old.

Have you tried Amazon and Ebay ?Some of the auto parts stores online give you access to their books when you register.

Do you have gas pressure at the fuel line going into the injector? If not, do you have gas pressure at the fuel filter at the gas filter by the passenger real wheel? If not, do you hear the fuel pump kicking on when you turn the key? If you don't have high pressure (spray) at the rear filter, but you hear the pump, then you need to drop the tank and change the filter sock at the pump, which is a pain ;-( If you don't hear the pump, then check the relay controlling that.

The alternator is controlled by the engine computer. Its possible the regulator inside the computer has failed.You could also have a faulty wire or connection between the alternator and the battery cable. Or a bad ground connection.Someone would need to troubleshoot the charging circuit with a meter and a shop manual.

in 1987 lebarrons the computer in the air box by the battery controls the alternator charge, test the voltage at the back of the alternator with engine running, should be around 14 volts, if it is not you have a defective alternator, if it is then test voltage at the battery, if that is not the same you have a faulty computer which is not uncommon on chryslers.

Could be anything from a fuse to a bad connection. Id take it to a ASE mechanic to have full tests done and perhaps new wiring installed
