2002 Subaru Impreza - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I got a subaru impreza outback 2002. My fan switch
Yes,it's probably the blower motor resistor it should be on the passenger side under dash on the heater box, probably mounted with two screws and has plug in connection, as far as the temperature guage I would check to be sure that the radiator fans are coming on when the temperature that controls them is reached, also check fuses.

02 impreza wrx giving trouble
Unlikely the fuel filter is causing the engine check light. You reset the light so presumably you know the fault code. Looking up the meaning of that fault code would give you more of a clue to the cause than someone telling you it might be the fuel sensor - there is quite enough (educated) guesswork in fault diagnosis when the fault code is known without unnecessarily adding to it.
The wiper problem probably isn't a matter of adjustment. The wiper arm spring or springs could be weak or if it is a twin spring design perhaps one is missing. Possible the wrong design of wiper blade is fitted and should be replaced by a blade with an aerofoil design.
Replacing the belts to cure a noise made by the belts but that makes no difference means it probably isn't the belts making the noise. Belts can make some loud and strange noises but a brief spray onto the running belt should instantly stop the noise albeit temporarily. The spray could be anything from water, silicone, WD-40...
If the noise doesn't instantly stop it probably isn't the belts.
Listening through a short length of hose can help locate a noise and if it is a mechanical noise then listening via a rod or long screwdriver or a stethoscope (sonarscope) will be necessary.

Can I remove my cruise control
The short answer is no, it won't affect your car. Cruise isn't part of the engine control. Why would you want to remove it? It doesn't take any horsepower and effects no other system.

P0442 error code on my suzuki esteem wagon 1.8l
Having OBD Codes doesn't mean you change parts
You need a shop to test the evap system to find a problem
You need info on the vehicle before you start to work on it,
to learn where the components are.

Water Leak
At the bottom of the windscreen is a chamber that that the water drains into and this chamber is drained by a hose on either side out past the front wheel arches. They block up with leaves and gunk and the water overflows into the air vents into the car. If the car has some age on it this area is susceptible to rust holes as well

I had engine work done and a new clutch installed
If the car worked properly before( I assume it did ) then any problem that has occured since the garage worked on the vehicle HAS to rectfied by the garage NO IF'S AND NO BUT'S.... if they dont then seek professional legal advice,,, it just seems a bit wierd that the problems are located in the very area in which the garage were working. MMMMmmmmmmm?????????

Could be air in cooling system. Check radiator cap on motor. Open when cool, fill to top and start car. Pump hoses to get air out. While running keep filling when thermostat opens. Rev engine if you'd like to quicken the process. When you can get anymore coolant it put top back on. Check for leaks!
