1999 Chryster Cirrus problems
Just a couple of guesses. Bad (petulant) computer? Maybe a circuit inside that isn't right? It doesn't sound like a grounding issue if it starts right back up, but you might check the computer ground. Quite often, that ground is on top of the engine, coming out of the wiring harness.Hope you find it. Puzzling. Might help if you kept a scanner hooked up while driving. Then you might get some freeze frame information.
I started it I put gas and it smelled like a burnt
Yup! Running it low on oil can definitely cause a "burnt metal smell". It can also totally destroy the engine before you can ever smell it.It sounds like something that needs to be checked by a professional auto repair technician to me.

not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can

can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or
no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition
coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

My dash light do not come on
FIrst, spin the brightness knob back and forth, if dirt or corrosion are causing the problem, this cleans the contact area. If that does not resolve it, check the fuses number 7 and 11 just under the dash on drivers side, it has a cover on it that comes off.If the lights for system check do not come on when the key is turned to run without starting engine, check the fuses number 9 and 5 just under the dash on drivers side.If this does not correct the issue, and the following- Radio glove box light, ashtray light, ABS light at startup with the other system check lights do work, the bulbs for dash illumination are probably burned out.if the radio, ash tray and glove box light work and the other system check lights do not- the dash cluster may be seperated from the connector on the back side. or the ground wire for the cluster may not be making contact. The ground wire specific for the dash cluster lights is a black wire with orange trace stripe.
The Check engine light blinks occasionally (not
Hello Richard, the owners manual would not help you on this problem. A flashing engine light means the engine is doing something abnormal, but it hasn't happened enough to turn the light 'solid.' - There should be a trouble code(s) saved which can be read by a scanner. You need have it scanned and get the codes, from there, repairs needed can be determined. I hope this information is helpful.

Hi, assuming you have the 2.5 liter engine, your damper is integral to the pulley assembly as shown in the second figure below, so there is only one part involved. You can see an example of the part here:

The rubber is what fails and causes the pulley to wobble. You may need to borrow a puller to get the pulley off.
