neutral switch on trans

On the steering shaft is a box w/ a small rod running to your key switch. Most times the contacts fry in the box or it may just simply need to be adjusted. It takes less than an hour to locate it. If you find that's not the case and have a console shifter, there may be a switch there with a bad connection. Get yourself a decent 12 volt test light,...the really help diagnosing bad connections. Hope this helped.

Have you checked the fuse, there is fuse for just the tail lamps. If it was isolated to brake lights only, I would suggest the switch attached to the brake pedal.

May be water in gas, or trash in tank. Try an appropriate fuel additive first. More serious issues include new spark plugs, wires etc.

Usually a few screws. If you can't see them from the gas cap compartment try thru the trunk. take down a couple side panel moldings. Before you do that; is there a screw holding in the lock on the gascap? perhaps you can just remove this and purchase a new one.

sounds like a relay not working right

run a can of injector cleaner through with your next fill and replace fuel filter but do in reverse order lol fuel filter then fill tank and add injector cleaner

I would look around and make sure the fluids are topped off, no vacuum leaks, and a tune up.

Fuse box should be under the hood. and possibly a further box under the steering wheel to the side in teh plastic moulding.
