I have a 03 subaru outback sedan that makes noise in the front driver side when pressing the brakes.

The brake booster is not connect to the wheels. More likely is that the oe or more of caliper slides are jammed with rust. If one usually the lower one) is jamming, the caliper twists on the rotor and the pads make all sort of rattling or squeaking noise. A worn wheel bearing allows the pads to be pushed away from the rotor: a mushy brake pedal or grinding noises are the common result.

My Outback AC when you

Howdy Grichards360, Not knowing the AGE of your AC only makes it a wee bit harder to speculate... (good news though)... INTERMITENT operation = cheap & easy. SUFFICE it to say REALLY EXPENSIVE issues are like HATE & UGLY... They stay (and accumulate). My BEST GUESS is your system pressure is right at the THRESHOLD where designers have CORRECTLY (even mercifully) decided it is marginal enough not to USELESSLY operate the components at all... An ideal time (and stable enough system) to "top-up" your refrigerant charge... (see below) unless you live in CALIFORNIA ... you should easily be able to purchase a kit to accomplish this TASK yourself. Two CAUTIONS here: 1). Refrigerants can be quite dangerous... (read & heed precautions (especially refrigerant TYPE)). 2). "Top-Up" is a STUNT... Proper maintenance would dictate a serious consideration be given to PROPER lubrication. If this is the first time in 10 or 15years you will PROBABLY be fine... (ELSE: study up or comment back). Hope this helps Carnac the Magnificent

Factory radio reset

Hi Logan, You need to take your registration papers with your licence (licence is to prove YOU own the car) to a car dealer ie: Holden, Ford, Toyota, Chrysler and ask at the sales office for the RADIO SECURITY PIN NUMBER, You'll receive your BCM security number, Car key number-Ignition, Radio security pin number and Radio serial number. These numbers belong to that car and once you have them DON'T loose them because in Australia some dealers charge a fee and some don't.... Hope this helped....CHEERS..

How to change cabin air filter in a 2003 Subaru

Your cabin filter is located behind the glove box.
First you will need to remove the glove box. Open the glove box, and on the left and right side on the inside, there will be a retainer that you will need to pull out. This will cause your glove box to fall forward, exposing all of the screws. Unscrew the 10 screws around the outer edge of the glove box, and pull the unit down and out of your way.
After the glove box is removed, you will be able to see the HVAC casing. You will see the access door to the cabin filter, held in with some clips. Disconnect the resistor connector that is in your way, then remove the four clips in order to access the filters.
Once you pull the filters out, you can install the new ones in reverse order. Make sure that the arrows on the filters are pointing up, and that the door is sealed properly when you close it back up.
Good luck and please let me know if I may further assist you. -TXTEXAN
