Oil gauge does not work, engine runs fine

It is probably your sending unit, if your engine hasn't started knocking or seized by now it is probably fine. Either change the unit where it sits or have a technician check for oil pressure with a mechanical gauge.

Heater want go for cold to hot

You know I see a lot of Jeep folks on here with that problem who have bought the cool air flap repair kit, but then they can't get it installed. So call a dealer and ask if there is such a kit and if so let them put it in for you.

My jeep wrangler just passed 100,000 miles, what

Here is the basic maintenance list for your Jeep:

~ Inspect lights and check tire pressure at least monthly or before & after each trail ride

~ Oil & filter change, chassis lubrication, differential and transfer-case fluids every 3,000 to 5,000 miles or 3 to 4 months - if you have recently crossed through water deep enough to submerge the centre of your hubs, replace the differential fluids as a precaution

~ Underhood belt and hose inspection every 3,000 to 5,000 miles or 3 to 4 months (every oil change)

~ Tire rotation and wheel balancing every 6,000 miles or every other oil change - driving offroad can knock wheel weights off a wheel, so you may need to have this done more frequently

~ Brake inspection every 6,000 miles or every other oil change - if you have rum brakes in the rear, ensure they are cleaned after each trail ride where you encountered deep mud/snow

~ Replace air filter every 12,000 to 24,000 miles or as indicated by inspection - dusty trails can shorten these intervals dramatically

~ Replace fuel filter every 24,000 to 100,000 miles

~ Automatic transmission service every 24,000 to 100,000 miles

~ Wheel alignment check every 12,000 to 24,000 miles or as indicated by tire wear - offroad driving can knock wheels out of alignment, so budget for an alignment every 3 months, then watch tread wear to see if it's needed

~ Cooling system flush and refill every 40,000 to 100,000 miles

~ Belt and hose replacement every 60,000 to 100,000 miles or 5 to 8 years

~ Engine timing belt replacement every 60,000 to 100,000 miles (when equipped) or 5 to 8 years

~ Air conditioning performance check annually, usually in the spring - be sure to run your A/C during the winter for brief period to ensure all hoses and valves stay lubricated and operable

Replace fuel pumpand moddual on a 2001 jeep

Fuel Pump Removal & Installation To Remove:
WARNING
The fuel system is under constant pressure, even when the engine is off. This pressure must be released before servicing the fuel pump module.
  1. Drain fuel tank and remove the tank.
  2. Thoroughly wash and clean area around pump module to prevent contaminants from entering tank.
  3. The plastic fuel pump module locknut is threaded onto fuel tank. Install special tool #6856 to fuel pump module locknut and remove locknut. The fuel pump module will spring up when locknut is removed.
  4. Remove the module from fuel tank.
To Install:
CAUTION
Whenever the fuel pump module is serviced, the module gasket must be replaced.
  1. Thoroughly clean locknut threads and mating fuel tank threads. Use a solution of soap and water. Do not use carburetor cleaner to clean threads.
  2. Using new gasket, position fuel pump module into opening in fuel tank.
  3. Apply clean water to locknut threads.
  4. Position locknut over top of fuel pump module.
  5. Rotate module until arrow is pointed toward front of vehicle (12 o'clock position). This step must be done to prevent float/float rod assembly from contacting sides of fuel tank.
  6. Install special tool #6856 to the locknut.
  7. Tighten the locknut to 55 ft-lb (74 Nm).
  8. Rotate fuel filter/fuel pressure regulator until its fitting is pointed to 10 o'clock position.
  9. Install the fuel tank.

I own a 2001 jeep wrangler offroad edition. when i

Noises and vibrations are often difficult to locate even when you are there (which I'm not).
If the noise is present when you are rolling, then it may be from your brakes, a hub bearing, or even a driveshaft joint. If the noise is present when you are at a standstill, then I'd check the throwout bearing for the clutch (it is stick-shift, correct?)
I'd also look at all the pulleys on the front of the engine as sometimes if one is bad enough it can transmit a vibration throughout the entire vehicle.
There other possibilities but generally they would give you other symptoms as well.
Sorry I can't be more precise, but your problem is one that you need to actually be there to hear, drive and examine in order to find the cause!

Just bought 2001 Jeep with 6 cyl. and on drive

if the light was off when you bought it, then came on shortly after, the dealer turned the light off without fixing the problem. how long after you bought it did the light come on? did you get gas shortly before the light came on? the cap may be loose. in order to determine the fault, you'll have to have the code read. autozone does it for free.
