Leaking rear seal on transmission
if you are talking about the seal at the rear of the tranny where the drive shaft goes into than it is fairly easy.
1.put something behind both tires so the vehicle does not try to roll away when you complete step 2.
2.take the drive shaft down.
3. take a flat head screw driver and a hammer.
4.take the screw driver and put it in the crack where the seal and tranny meet.
5.you will need to tap the screw driver into the crack until you can get a good grip on the seal with the screw driver.
6 you will need to pry out on the seal until you see it move.
7.do this all the way around until you can get the seal out.
8.make sure nothing is in the way of you putting in the new seal
9.put a little bit of tranny fluid on the new seal.
10 put the seal in place and lightly tap the seal. into the tranny.
11. put the drive shaft back together.

Dashboard gauge needles irratic jumping on / off / fluctuating
Found out that irratic dashboard gauge needles jumping all over the place was due to computer harness connector pins getting a little corrosive / rusty.....
cured problem, over several times / applications by disconnecting harness, and spraying W\D 40 on pins (plugging in and unplugging several times), then wiping off pins and corrosiveness, and giving final light coat of W'D 40 and plugging in harness. Took a couple of times before problem disappeared over time.

Check engine light on a 1999 jeep wranglertj
A check engine light means the computer found a problem. If the light is steady on, the problem may not be too bad, like a loose gas cap. If the check engine light is blinking, that's a major issue and you need to stop driving and have it fixed or major engine damage could occur.
Engine running lean
Check fuel pressure regulator for a rupture by pulling off the vacuum line and see if it is full of fuel.
'10' wrangler is starved for fuel when cold
You may have a bad coolant temp sensor but the only way to prove it is took hook into scanner that can read data, also check the fuel pressure. Note if the ect is bad it will be reading -45 no matter what the temp is it will get better as the lazy sensor catches up. I hope this helps, Take care
