Oil pressure is really low and valve started ticking after oil change, WHY??

the new oil pressure is affected by the pump speed especially an oil pump that has done a lot of work. Low water pressure is usually a sign of engine wear particularly around the mains and bigends. As the motor ages and all the parts become worn more and more is lost into the crankcase. As you rev the motor the oil pressure increases and will maintain its pressure at around six or eight PSI.When you change the oil in the hydraulic tappets drain the oil away and so when you restart the engine after you have changed the oil the worn oil pump take some time to get new oil up and around the hydraulic tappets. This is a common problem with well used engines, it does not mean that they are not usable but it does mean they are starting to show their age.Regards

Does my 2001 Jeep cherokee 3.7 have a belt or chain?

Chain, belts are for smaller engines that don't have alot of torque or stress on them. If your vehicle is a V8 there is noway that it would have a belt. and even a V6 being a SUV wouldn't be either. Hope I could help.

Driver's side windshield wiper goes past window frame. How can this be repaired?

It could be a relatively easy fix or it could take some effort. First, try repositioning the wiper. By flipping up the end cap of the wiper arm and backing off the set screw that holds it on the wiper motor post. Remember, what position it was in by placing a piece of tape on the windshield. Pull the wiper arm off by pulling it off in line ith the angle of the wiper motor post. Take a close look at the splines of both the wiper blade arm and wiper motor. If either is damaged you will have to replace that component. Estimate the amount of adjustment you need and reinstall the wiper blade arm that amount in relationship to the piece of tape. Tighten set screw and try it.If it still does it but less then repeat the process until you get it adjusted correctly. If there was no change thing it could be the wiper motor and that takes some effort to replace.

Where is the drain plug for the radiator

Should be a drain **** at the bottom of the radiator that unscrews out. It looks like a wing nut has been welded to a bolt on the end of it. Another way to do this is just pull off the bottom hose.

Back hatch wont open jeep cherokee 01

the switch in the back door will get seized with age. When this happens the latch assembly will stay stuck halfway open and closed allowing you to close the door. when the door locks the latch will jam. and now will not be able to open until the latch is freed up and unseized again. you will have to access the latch by going through the inside and popping the panel away from the door. then using a screw driver force the latch to the fully closed position. then unlock door and open. Lubricate the old latch till it moves freely. then it should work properly for you.. good luck
