No symptoms posted. just how to turn a bolt. ok.
id not attempt to force it out, unless new one in pocket
right? if you break it you are DIP, dead in pavement.

if the scan tool says its good, why do that. really?
P0336? or P0340/1? why not just say the DTC does,
the ECU reports even 1 drop in 10, so did it?
most are good, but getting parts off rusty engines can be very very hard.
which engine is there, why post with out first declaring engine.
3 engines they had. 4.0L , 4.7L and diesel..

try pen oil? penetrating oil, yet? soak wait, soak wait, pray, repeat.?
WJ jeep
CKP (old SAE name CPS)
using correct name allows searching in the FSM book more easy.
the crANK SENSOR. p1690"S Use real scan tool?
p0320'S

the 4L is on bell housing top. seen below.
the 4.7 liter is above. the starter.

this?
or the 4.7L? (its totally different)

sounds like you forgot to say systems before, sensor guess.
or stated backwards?

the car is 2000
connect the scan tool, see all those DTC ERRORS.

I think you mean alarm? I would look at the ac to make sure it has enough freon, the ac won't come on if the pressure is below a certain threshold. Also if you mean alarm won't come on too it might be a loose cable on the battery. I'd clean the posts and rewire it again.

no symptoms to tell?
just how to reset the nebulous OD.?
of the transmission has issues.
check fuses first
levels
then scan it, if the scan tool show errors, called DTC errors
then push the reset button on said tool and see if they come
back , if they do they are REAL , time to fix it.
get it serviced.

2000 Jeep Grand... | Answered on Mar 04, 2015

2000 Jeep Grand... | Answered on Mar 03, 2015

Are you loosing fuel pressure, or spark ?

2000 Jeep Grand... | Answered on Feb 24, 2015

did you scan the PCM first.
rear lights dead, not dead dash brake warning light.

check all fuses first?
the fuse is in the cab or under hood
so lets find out where, i open FSM book, and look at schematic
brake lamps
the fuse is in JB box. cab fuse box.
its marked clearly as. Fuse F23 Brakes.
the brake switch is on the brake pedal.
if the fuse is good, 12vdc on both sides.at all times.
then the brake switch is open
if its output is 0v brakes pressed.
if the output is 12v then the switch is good, and the wire
are bad, to the rear.
or both lamps burned out or both sockets bad or wires cut
from trailer hitch hacks,.

IS THAT a malformed DTC error? what?
where did you see that?
  1. -in the cluster VFD
  2. autozoned..
  3. a real scan tooL , where>?
P1450? (seem, to me its not P, zero hits)

the first letter matters, P is power train,
the factory service manual covers that, read that yet.?

click emission.
see those codes now?
if you dont have a scan took ask your local mechanic to scan
it, and advice you.

each code tells the tech when tests he needs to do.
the codes do not ever say < replace part X
only in year 2050? when AI systems evolve.
we still need humans to diagnose all complex systems.

or take the classes an not have to ask ?

If you have no brake lights, and you've checked the fuses and the bulbs then, the problem is likely a the brake light switch on the brake pedal arm. The switch needs to be adjusted or replaced.
Hope this helps.

old post, i like the question,
the answer is easy on all computers on earth.
the puter (it's a microprocessor really) has DC power
when the capacitors there, discharge, then the processor stops
processing , (like lamp that dies, same way)
so how long, ?
that depend on the size of that cap. and the processor +loads.
so, we dont know that, NOR CARE.

it takes 1 minute on some. or milliseconds others.
on the air bags , way way longer. (by DESIGN)
its like asking,
who fast can my take of water here, drain.
there is NO ANSWER,
with out inputs and facts, not given.
physics 01.

(it also depends on other things shared on power feed if they have caps, so that the total parallel cap values can be very high and slow the discharge,
tricks? (varies by year and car, (design)
short the battery cables, battery disconnect.
some car hit brakes does this (battery neg lug pulled)
other cars head lights. (battery neg pulled.)
but newer cars all that is dead. key off battery out.
relays are open then and only the battery trick works. on new cars.
also on new cars there is a memory bus and a set of fuses
the are hot all the time to every processor in the car./
my Jeep has that. 2008
so only the battery pulled , gets all power dead.

why guess
http://www.jeep4x4center.com/knowledge-base/index.htm?utm_source=cj#service

why post easter egg hunts here and no symptoms. sux wasting talent on that, huh?

ill now guess, engine, ( but 50%chance)
4.7Liter
and book is free, to read, can you,?
USA cars,
click engine chapter
did you read diagnosis page yet. (amazing things there)
chapter fuel injection zzzzzz
shows this.
both engines.

the 4.0L MAP is mounted to the Throttle body casing.
testing is in chapter 14, page 43, ("fuel injection")
the tests are easy. and fully stated. if you can read them.
