How do i remove intake manifold on 2005 pt cruiser 4 cylinder
Hi Bob I'm glad to help!
Bob, first, unplug all electrical connectors from the throttle body. Then if equipped take the bolts out of the EGR Tube at the back side near the throttle body. Next, there one bolt that goes through a bracket right next too the EGR Tube. Then remove the bolts that are facing downward on the intake. Then pull it up and outward toward you. The gaskets are reusable, so put it back in reverse procedure. NOTE: Sense you're already there save yourself from having to redo the job by replacing the spark plug wire too. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Bob.
What would cause a 2005 PT Cruiser to lurch intermittently?
This would be very good justification for you to buy a cheap OBDII scanner through Amazon or your local auto parts store. Next time it happens, plug the scanner in immediately and read the error code(s) out of the computer. Then you'll know what's happening. The failure is intermittent, whatever it is, so you need to catch it while the error code is still "live".
No tail lights
Blown fuse, bad switch, broken wire, or burned out bulbs.
Code b223d
Then you have no air bag turned on, if you were to need it
Get it into a shop
Any dash light on after the motor is running, is a system fault,
& needs to be diagnosed & repaired within a week or less
