cold oil is thicker, higher rpm=more pressure .factory guage is actually working like it should. if worried hook external guage on oil galley plug and check oil press.manually.
Rumble strip problem. acceleration makes it go away???
look at your coolant. if it looks like coffee or its thick or beige in color, than you need a transmission and radiator replaced. your radiator failed. the build in cooler to be specific, which caused your trans fluid to mix with cooant and trans got contaminated,. your trans is junk.need to replace it with new radiator. make sure to flush out your trans cooler lines also. some of the contaminated fluid gets trapped inside of them. you want to have the system clean as much as possible.
Engine sputters while engine check
believe Nissan about tune ups a the ECM does it every second
when the tune up fails you run the fault codes and replace the faulty part or fix what has broken
plugs will last the life of the motor especially if you pay the extra for platinum plugs
you can help by regularly using quality injector cleaner and having the codes read every so often
batteries are checked with a load tester
Alternators are bench tested and starter motors have to be removed and bench tested
the codes were oit read properly as the engine light operation is a fault recorded and the engine failing to start are other fault codes
2005 Nissan Xterra (2wd) check engine light
Take it to a reputable independent repair shop that isn't a chain...that employees Master L-1 Technicians. Chain stores can barely change oil, let alone diagnose complicated issues.
My 2005 Nissan Xterra will not engage the Reverse
i have the same problem 2005 xterra 4x2 giving pretty much all the code you posted but i did and tried everything possible to fix it myself with a little success but still ( Engine Light ) comes on with the last code P1757 front breake soleniod i did change the front passenger sensor but now the light came on again i believe the driver side need to replace as well ..... but weird the whining noise from the engine still there sound like i am going 120mph but actually im going 30mph only initiall problem was fixed by replacing the Transmission Oil 5 qrt S type from nissan dealer it did help for at least few months but then the problem came back... i also replace the Transmission Revolution speed sensor by doing that id just eliminate the code to pop up... i love my xterra but im getting really fraustrated everytime i see her in my garage colleccting dust not running.. dont want to spent a fortune rather thingking about trading it anyway like id said you might thingking replacing the Transmission oil that would maybe solve the issue.... GOOD LUCK....
