Gas hand not working flip flopping

GM has been having problems with the wiper on the gas sending unit in the tank. After years of use it wears through and only works once in a while. Unfortuneately you have to drop the tank to fix it. Fortuneately they have started selling just the replacement sending unit, you used to have to buy the fuel pump and all.

How to fix head gusket without taking apart engine

That would be impossible. If the head gasket has failed than the only tru fix is to replace it. This would involve an extensive disassembly of the major engine components. There are stop leak products on the market that claim to fix these problems. I can assure you that these are band-aides. As we know they only cover the wound they do not heal it. The only way you could fix it without taking the engine apart is to replace the engine with a used or remanufactured engine. This would still involve the transfer of parts from one engaging to another and the removal and install of the engine itself. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Vehicle is shuttering at low RPMs and steady

I had the same problem, found there was air passing through the Lower Gasket of Intake manifold. Gasket was cheap, Removal of intake manifold as one piece takes time and is a good thing to have mechanic around for.

Locate fuel filter on 1999 gmc yukon

The fuel filter should be on the inner frame rail on the left side of the truck. This is the drivers side on the inner frame about the center of the truck.Just follow the fuel lines. If your not sure of what it looks like then first go and buy a filter then when you look under the truck you will see it.Make sure and relieve the fuel pressure be for removing the filter. You can do this by removing the fuel pump fuse from the under hood fuse center and start the vehicle.Let it run til it quits. Then shut the key off and this should relieve the pressure from the fuel lines. You will still have some fuel in the lines but it should not spray all over.Hope this helps.Good luck.

I have tried every thing to set the timing on

You have spark at the plugs right? Have you checked fuel pressure? It has to be 60 psi or it won't even fire.
