yes you will have to weld a peace of pipe to the exhaust system where it came off. Oh and by the way it is illegal so if your car has to get inspected you will have to replace. and the convertor is worth a lot of money so dont throw it away

I have a 1993 ford
Hi Closet,
I think the problem will be with the voltage regulator or a defective alternator. I believe it will be easier to fit a service exchange unit. That will mean removing the alternator from the vehicle. Remove the keys from the ignition. I believe its a good idea to make sketches all the way through the procedure, that way you'll know what goes where. Disconnect the battery and remove the negative. Loosen the alternator tensioner until the belt can be removed. Disconnect the electrical connections. Remove the through bolt under the alternator and then remove the top bolt. Remove the alternator from the bracket. Fitting is the reverse procedure. Make sure the belt is correctly tightened, and you should be away.

Most are spot welded into place. The only way to do it is to cut them out, using a grinder to remove the spot welds as best as possible then removing the hinge with a dead blow hammer, or use a metal chisel to help dislodge it the rest of the way

If the ignition switch is effected by the loose
key cylinder ,it may play a role
You need to check out the switch
and look at a wiring diagram to see
what role the ign sw plays, with grounding
the alternator regulator,if it does
Put an AMP Meter in either battery cable
to check for excessive drain
I need to know how to get the hex nut out of my
Caution!!! Removing the driveshaft yoke retaining nut could cause misalignment of the ring and pinion gears and lead to more serious problems. If you are wanting to access the pinion bearing because your 8.8 rear end has started making noise then you really need to disassemble the unit as a whole. A job left in most cases to an expert.
Where is the pcv valve located on a 1993 ford
I'll do my best to explain. The PCV is located center, upper engine area, driver side of engine, between engine block and intake manifold, mounted in vacuum hose. I hope you got that and that it helps you. Good luck.
My 93 ford ranger 5
I would start by checking the oil level in transmission.Sticking in a gear usually means internal parts damage. This is usually caused by low oil because of plugs on the shifter cap leaking. There is nothing you can adjust or repair without removing and diassembling transmission.
