I replaced the clutch last summer and its already

There is a slave cylinder on your clutch. Your can have problems with it if it does not give you the recommended clearance in the clutch assembly. There should not be more than 3/16" of freeplay in the clutch.

Also the clutch face, if it was not resurfaced or replaced with the clutch disc you may be chewing up the disc material. I found an excellent site to refer to with a Video demonstration used for shop mechanics.

Their phone number is 1-800-258-8312 for PerfectionUSA products. The site is PerfectionUSABlogspot.com, April 18, 2005. The Web search to this link is 1993 ranger clutch problems and you will get articles for this problem; then select this site. It is an 8 minute Video.
It is about bleeding procedures for Ranger and Mazda trucks.

The article also mentions an Improved pressure assembly which you may want to ask about after viewing the Video.

I hope you find my solution helpful and would like to know if you fixed your problem.

Where is the location and what is the appearance

The SPOUT connector, if disconnected, would prevent the spark from advancing. So, you would have less spark knock if disconnected. You only disconnect it when you are running a test for codes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Disconnect the single wire in-line SPOUT connector or remove the shorting bar from the double wire SPOUT connector. (In engine comartment)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The internal circuitry of the ICM will have one of two possible arrangements, push start or computer controlled dwell (CCD). The push start system allows for increased dwell, or coil ON time, when starting the engine. The ICM on this system determines when to turn the coil ON based upon engine rpm information. The coil is then fired, or turned OFF, whenever a rising edge of a SPOUT signal is encountered (Figure 5 ). The SPOUT signal, short for SPark OUTput, is a digital signal generated by the PCM providing spark angle information to the ICM. The SPOUT signal on the push start system controls only the firing of the coil. The falling edge of the SPOUT signal is ignored. The CCD system, however, does use both edges of the SPOUT signal (Figure 6 ). The SPOUT signal for the CCD system is same as in the push start except that the falling edge is now generated to control the time at which the coil is turned ON. The coil ON time, or dwell, for this system is thus entirely controlled by the SPOUT signal. The ICM does not internally determine when to turn the coil ON as it does on the push start system. It responds directly to the SPOUT signal it receives.
In the case that the SPOUT signal line opens from the PCM, the ICM will use the PIP signal to fire the coil. This results in a fixed spark angle of and fixed dwell.

You should check the fuel system to make sure that you are getting the fuel you need to keep the car running. If your fuel pump is wearing out then it will not feed the motor fast enough to keep the car running. There is a simple pressure gauge that is used on the fuel line to test to see if it has enough pressure. This would be the first place to start. Everything after this is usually a problem in something electrical.

it could be as easy as the raidiator temp sensor...
But could as easily be a fuel pump going bad.
The fuel pump is an easy one to do... as it is located right below the drivers side door on the frame... and has easy clips to unclip...
I would buy a new filter first though... it is just as easy... and in the same spot...

1993 ford ranger the truck will run on starting

You have a break in the power wire running back to the fuel pump. You can trace it back and fix it or just run a new wire, making sure that you splice in before the break. Use "heat shrink tube" over your splices, it works a lot better than tape.
If you can't find an easy spot to splice in near the front of the truck, then find an open spot in your fuse box and plug in there. There should be a spot there, probably marked accessory that will have power to it when you turn the key on. Then throw an inline fuse in your wire and plug in. Hope this helps.

How do i add transmission fluid into a 1993 Ford

Automatic Transmission?

The fluid level needs to be checked with the engine running, the vehicle on a level surface, and the transmission in park. Remove the Transmission dipstick, wipe clean, and reinsert. Immediately pull it out again and check the fluid level. If it is not where it should be fluid can be added through the dipstick tube. A half a quart can make a big difference in fluid level so start small.

It will take a while for the new fluid to clear out of the tube to get an accurate reading after you add the new fluid. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jeremy_d728a59f986299fa

How to remove a stsrter on a 1993 ford ranger

Hi. here's the procdeure on how to remove and replace new starte for your truck.

  1. Step 1 Disconnect the battery's negative cable from the battery using the battery wrench.
  2. Step 2 Lift the right front end of the Ranger with the floor jack and then lower it onto the jack stand. Make sure the jack stand is under the right front frame, but does not impede your access to the starter.
  3. Step 3 Climb under the Ranger with the socket set and unbolt the starter wiring using the socket set.
  4. Step 4 Support the body of the starter with one hand while you remove the two starter-mounting bolts with the socket set using your other hand. Do not let the starter rest on the loose bolts at any time during this process.
  5. Step 5 Set the old starter off to the side and hold the replacement starter in position. Thread the mounting bolts back in by hand and then tighten them down with the socket set. Once again, do not let the starter's weight rest on the bolts until you tighten them down fully.
  6. Step 6 Bolt the starter wiring to the new starter using the socket set.
  7. Step 7 Climb out and lower the Ranger off the jack stand using the floor jack. Reconnect the negative battery cable with the battery wrench.
