Outside temperature sensor not working
dont know the full location but its on the front end around one of those ares are that you have had replaced, its only smale and has 2 wires connecting it, it clips into an area were there is good air flow.

so to save money and hassle simply have the fault codes read by an accredited service shop and fix any shown faults
otherwise don't fix what ain't broke
Plugs will last the life of the engine and if you do not touch the ht leads they will be good

Hook up a scanner and run the engine. Put the scanner in data mode and look at throttle position, manifold pressure, fuel pressure, etc.

Many things can cause this issue as example a bad coil pack or more commonly even a bad crank sensor . If the computer cant see that the engine is turning it not going to know when to fire each cylinder.

Sounds like a IAC motor issue (idle air control motor) it controls your idle when you stop or put the ac on it adjusts the idle so you wont stall. it could be dirty or maybe worn out due to age .Very common that they do wear out .

This engine doesn't have a timing belt and that vacuum is way too good to think the valve timing is off. Far more likely you've got a bad crank or cam sensor or a wiring issue than a jumped chain. ALWAYS start with the weakest link instead of jumping the conclusion that it's something major. There's a complete troubleshooting procedure in the shop manual. Try alldatadiy.com or eautorepair.net

It's possible this is all caused by failure of the vehicle speed sensor circuit. The circuitry on the 4-cylinder is different from the V-6. Which engine do you have?

You need to test the parts. Does the switch have continuity when actuated? If yes, check the wires for continuity. Will the actuator work when you apply power directly to it? If yes, test the wiring.
