DUE TO PART AVAILABILITY, THIS SPECIAL COVERAGE IS BEING ADMINISTERED IN PHASES. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED AS EACH ADDITIONAL PHASE IS RELEASED.

CUSTOMERS ARE BEING INSTRUCTED TO CONTACT THE DEALERSHIP TO ARRANGE AN APPOINTMENT IF THEY BELIEVE THEIR VEHICLE HAS THIS CONDITION. THE CUSTOMER IS BEING ASKED TO PROVIDE THE VIN SO THE IPC CAN BE ORDERED IN ADVANCE OF THE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. THIS WILL ELIMINATE THE NEED TO KEEP THE VEHICLE OVERNIGHT. DEALERS ARE TO OBTAIN THE VEHICLE MILEAGE WHEN SCHEDULING A SERVICE APPOINTMENT. THE VEHICLE MILEAGE WILL BE REQUIRED WHEN PLACING AN ORDER FOR THE IPC.

Condition
Some customers of 2003-2004 model year Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, and Escalade EXT; Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado, Suburban, and Tahoe; and GMC Sierra, Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles have reported that one or more of the instrument panel (IP) cluster gauges stick, flutter, or become inoperative. This may cause inaccurate readings, including the speedometer and fuel gauge.

Special Coverage Adjustment
This special coverage covers the condition described above for a period of 7 years or 70,000 miles (110,000 km), whichever occurs first, from the date the vehicle was originally placed in service, regardless of ownership.

Dealers are to replace the instrument panel cluster after the condition has been verified. The repairs will be made at no charge to the customer.

For vehicles covered by Vehicle Service Contracts, all eligible claims with repair orders on or after September 28, 2007 are covered by this special coverage and must be submitted using the labor operation codes provided with this bulletin. Claims with repair orders prior to September 28, 2007, must be submitted to the Service Contract provider.

I will post and not cover Rear AUX heater box. ok, and is and option what part of this car has blower is this HVAC blower failing on HIGH is this manual version or climate control option. fuse are blown in cab or in bay (engine) fuses are first of high speed blower mode fails dead. what IS A CKED ????? is see no hits in my ASE books on that part or device name in a car or a truck 2003 chevy tahoe , no engine /trans told. (this dictates fuse boxes) my guess HVAC topic but no sure, what fan/blower or turbo this is. climate control model has left and right controls and all differenet wiring max. differ. fuse Hvac1, hvac-ECas, and fuse BOWER< yes 3 fuse must not be blown and the BCM is the brain here. not scanning the PCM to see BCM errors is a huge error in testing manual controls the resistor block uses a relay to send 12dc to he blower set to HIGH. all resistors bad ,high still works. here are the 4 things to fail; 4 is good so 3 things, 2 fuses, #3 is relay. to fail. a volt meter finds this easy for sure reading this page in the SM.below 3 pins on relay are at 12v. so are pin F and G 12vdc if not input to them is bad. not counting bad wires.,

Please don't type in all CAPS, it is considered SHOUTING and is hard to read. Your heating is run from the Body Control Module. You have a very complex vehicle, and you can't fix this yourself, you need an auto electrician with a pro grade, bi-directional scan tool to diagnose where the breakdown in communication is.

Have you not ever seen a blown fuse? The small wire which runs from one side to the other on the top must not have a break in it. FYI, I believe your instrument cluster has a big bundle of wire which plug into the cluster and can sometimes work loose. Check this too.

You need to be a bit of a detective for this. Is it one or two rattles then it stops or a constant ' machine gun' rattle sound. Is the noise there when the vehicle is standing at idle, only when moving or both? Does road speed alter the sound? Does the noise change if you stop and Rev the engine? Does cornering affect the noise? Use the comment button below and I'll see what extra help I can give you.

Note the diagram, hope you can read it. Tail lamps/park lamps, the same thing. This diagram is for right rear, note the fuse, rr park fuse, goes hot when you turn on headlamps or park. at the right rear tail lamp, brown wire with white tracer is voltage, that bottom black wire in diagram is ground. Need both voltage and ground. not only make sure fuse is good, use a test light to see if voltage at fuse when you turn on headlamps. If no voltage, have to backtrack that circuit. good luck.

The fuses are usually under the dash on the drivers left side. Hope this helps.

There is no "wire" to use, the factory radio is connected to the canbus (part of the vehicle communications wiring that goes to your computer in the car). Did you check your spark and your fuel pressure?

Check the dealer and see if your radio automatically adjust to your speed. Some radios were built to raise the volume when driving at higher speeds and when you get in slow traffic or when you stop it would automatically adjust down the volume. You can also go to a Radio Shack and get a spray cleaner for electrical parts and pull the volume knob off of your radio and spray the volume control and turn it rapidly to remove any hidden dirt on that volume control.
