Out of gap spark plugs or leaking plug boots positive spark is getting to ground stopping all plugs from firing properly or to large a gap in plugs I'm assuming that you mean the engine e is cranking but not turning over fast and persistent cranking finally starts it
Without testing the electrical circuits your guess is as good as anyones . Do you know what a wiring diagram is ? How to use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? To relays - lower relay & raise relay . Do you know how to test where the relay plugs in . If you look on the bottom of the relay or on the side you will see four sets of numbers , 30 - 87 & 85 - 86 . Watch this video an test the circuits . Probably just the relay , but test to be sure .

When you turn the key on it will only energize the fuel pump relay for two seconds , or until you crank the engine over . The PCM - engine computer controls the fuel pump relay . Watch this video

That has to be gas that is not being burned! No idea why blowing a fuse with the air compressor rashed your car like that - must be coincidental or collateral damage.
What was the code number? I guess I'm too lazy to look it up?
Did you use a gage and check proper fuel pressure? My info says 35--40 psi. Also, check that the fuel pressure will hold for a bit, with everything off. Your mfi correct?
With everything off, unplug your maf sensor, then start it up, can you tell if it runs better?
Your coolant temp sensor can effect fueling?
I'm not saying replace anything, I'm just thinking out loud, possibilities?
Most vehicles in park or neutral not much load on the engine. When you put it in gear, there is a load on the engine.
You first need to find out why it will not start, so no generic answer is of any use. Does it have fuel pressure? Spary starting fluid into the engine air intake, does it start and stall? If yes then the fuel pump may be defective. If the fuel pressure is ok then check for fault codes as this engine is computer controlled, to do this follow the link. What is the pressure in your low pressure side at 80 degrees ambient? Did you use gauges?
U said the clutch will not stay engaged, meaning that it engages and then releases. If so, that means the clutch winding is good but that perhaps you have a loose wire feeding the clutch or a bad, intermittent relay. And if that is not the case then you are LOW in freon and the low pressure cut off switch is disconnecting the clutch when the pressure goes down. Pressure should be around 35 pounds on suction line at about 3000 rpm.
I have a 1990 Mustang with power windows. When i first got the car the windows rolled up and down fine, then the passenger one started going up slower than the driver one. When i needed to fix my power locks i had them change the window motor in the passenger side. Now the passenger window rolls up faster than the driver one. The problem is the window motors.......and about the motors still running: the switches probably need to be replaced as well. I can almost guarantee this will solve your problem:)
get a wire brush clean the inside of battery terminals there is a tool to do this most auto parts stores have this its called a terminal battery cleaner
Check the battery connections and those on the starter and solenoid for good contact. Slight resistance will prevent the correct amount of current to go into the circuit.
How do you know #5 is running rich? error codes tell you that? I doubt it. But if you are sure, check the connections and the wire all the way back to the Ecu. my wild guess, the control is shorted to a positive supply and therefore the injector thinks it is supposed to supply wide open fuel. Or you have a bad ecu that is telling it the same thing.
Not sure if that modle has it but my 94 probe did and had same prolem so try this look in the trunk for a fuel shut off switch it'll be under the carpet of either driver side or passenger side and it will have a button on it push button back in also check clip and plug on it for melted plastic hope this helps good luck
Check all the pins in the socket. My 03 gt had a bent pin in the socket and my tuner wouldn't work. Make sure the connector on the scanner programmer is in good shape. Hope this is helpful, Good luck.
