some auto parts store will lend you a code checker that will also clear the codes and the check engine light. it will also tell you if there is something else wrong. some places will do it for you, otghers will need you license, and will return it when you return the unit. advance auto is one place

Time for a rebuild

pull the wiper arms off. turn the wipers on intermittent so they work once. then put the wiper arms back on in the down position and tighten bolts on wiper arm. They should then be timed correctly. Please rate my post.

run fault codes and look for cam/crank position sensor. Check that the cam shaft is turning(broken timing belt). Have a load test done on the battery and check for internal failure or explosion of the battery

It does depend on your motor also, but if I recall right, as you look over the passenger fender it should be to your left side and low. It should be a small spring loaded idler so it should look to be mounted onto a 'round' two piece base. This one will probably take a special tool that you may be able to borrow from your auto parts store.

i dont see one but the alternator, try this, run engine and remove one of the battery cable if the engine stays running you have a good alternator if engine stops you have a bad alternator.

This is most likely caused by a bad wire connection somewhere between the speaker and the receiver or stereo player in the dash. Follow the wire and check for any defects, melting, or pinched wire.
