Vehicle ran low on gas

Misfires are caused by loss of either spark, gas, or compression. Most likely you have lost gas. Spark is normal? Compression is probably okay. Check your fuel pressure-especially when it has stalled and won't restart.

Last week my 99 dodge

Remove the wiper blades and let the motor cycle a few times as if you were actually wiping the windshield. Then turn off the wipers at the control knob or lever. Re-attach the wiper arms so they are parallel with the bottom of the window yet still on the window. Hopefully this will help. Also, since you replaced the motor, did the new motor you installed have intermittent capability like the original one did? If the motor didn't have intermittent capability like the original then this could also be your problem

Engine turns over but stops

Hello Alkodiak167, There are always great reasons NOT to take your car to a DEALER... ESPECIALLY after 20 years (of faithful service)... I think DEALERS HATE old cars. AFTER 10 YEARS... Dealers (in my opinion) comic book approach... doesn't help a real mechanical issue... As to running around an CLEANING GROUND connections: Wouldn't that be WONDERFUL... If you want to CONTINUE that BOONDOGGLE... FREE DRAWINGS and TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETINS are available (USA market) at BBB Industries website... (see below). Registration is required... as these are real drawings. If you want to save money... and time... check around for a FREE DIAGNOSTIC reads... Muffler-shops, service station and AUTO-PARTS houses (AUTOZONE?). Keep in mind... If your OXYGEN SENSORS are REPORTING any issues... NEW OXYGENS SENSORS will likely ALSO report the same trouble(s). Vague GENERALITIES to follow: Engines are all about fire & fuel... and ARM YOURSELF with a few facts... stabbing at solutions (while typically cheaper than going to a DEALER) spends bountiful time and money... usually wasting a lot of good OXYGEN SENSORS in the process... When you see OXYGEN SENSORS in the diagnostic results... Look for a clogged exhaust (muffler and/or catalytic converter). You can trouble shoot the OLD FASHIONED way... pressure check, finally toss in a few filters... BUT WHY do you WANT TO INGORE a perfectly good ON-BOARD-DIAGNOSTIC system...?? 1997 Dodge caravan. Dome lights(2) and tailgate courtesy lights(2) do not turn on. with either 1.opening the tailgate; 2. opening any other door ; 3. using the in dash switch. Trouble shooting: 1 Chec

Not sure about your car but on my KIA the dome and rear gate light have switches on the light assemblies themselves for on/off all time/on with door. Check to see if you have same. Also, there may be another "dash" switch, typically on the dash dimmer switch which may be turned all the way from dim to off. Check your dash dimmer switch. Relays are typically in a fuse box under the hood.
