Sometimes a cracked battery plate can float inside a battery and short.Another possibility is on dual cam motors there are parts called "cam phasers". It would not have anything to do with the dash lights, but can cause stalling out at high speeds and lack of power.What happens is each side of the motor has a Camshaft. The 2 sides are not connected in that they advance and retard timing independently. The cam phasers control that function.When 1 phaser malfunctions, your engine is out of time within itself. It may stall or knock.I wonder about your fuel pump. Did you test the fuel pump pressure after the change? Try a fuel pump relay?Some of the items I mention can cause your problems and not generate a trouble Code or check engine light.

If the check engine light is flashing, there is a serious problem that is affecting the performance of the engine.You need to get the computer scanned for trouble codes to proceed.

I had same problem with my 2005 Expedition. The solution for mine turned out to be a dirty throttle body. Cleaned the inside of it with rag and carb. cleaner so that the throttle plate wouldn't bind and no more problem.

under the dash on right hand side look for some vacume lines one should be hooked to a thing that looks like a bell with a rod on top move your air switch and see if that moves

remove electrical connector from coil remove the two mounting bolts pull straight up installation reverse order

i have had the same problem and changed fuel i know fuel chevron and the problem stopped until i was in a rush and fueled with arco then it stated up again im not saying thats the solution but it worked for me

it means that the throttle position sensor is going bad, have it replaced.

The MAF sensor is on the air filter housing. It will have a connector that has 5 wires going to it. The oxygen sensors are on the exhaust system
