Electronic Throttle control light came on and car died
We ended up taking the vehicle to a trusted auto repair shop. The codes came up indicating a failed throttle body, most likely in the electronics. After a few more pinpoint tests, the recommendation was to replace the throttle body. The cost for this repair was just under $500. Since there is no aftermarket on this part, Genuine Ford parts were used.

2005 Ford Expedition battery drains over night. I
You can narrow it down a bit more by unplugging the transfer case motor. See if it drains. But I haven't seen these cause a drain before. I suspect the air module. As all modules can short out and cause a drain. Could be the PCM also. But I haven't seen modules drain a battery over night. You might also check or have checked the battery. It could also be dieing.

WHY AC IS NOT COLD FOR 2005 FORD EXPEDITION
no leak ? that's usely number 1 reason to fail. did you add dye to the system ? that will show where the leak is they sell little cans at the parts store. you must add it in the correct spot also ac should be done by someone who knows what they are doing .it can be dangerous to just start adding coolant and changing 0 rings at connections.

What are bad alternator symptoms?
If you happen to see the IGN light come on even after the engine runs or is intermittent specially when the headlights, AC and wipers are switched on , then there is low current on the alternator or the voltage regulator charging unit.
Also if you tend to think that the battery is not charging , has a difficulty in the morning then the voltage on the alternator output must be checked as the similar fault can be also due to a faulty charging control- rectifier or regulator.
Finally if you notice any burning smell or heating on the alternator it must be removed and checked on a test bench with simulation.
