I have oil dripping. Where could that be coming from?
Is it oil or transmission fluid? The color will tell you, transmission will be red. Best bet is to clean the engine and then watch closely to see where the oil is coming from. Possible locations include Valve cover, bad oil filter seal, leaking heads, bad main seal.

2003 Windstar. How to replace oil pan and gasket.
Normally it's about 13 bolts. Sometimes there will be a plastic cover but that's rare. You'll needBasic tool\wrench set.GlovesOil catch panabout 2hrsClose to 5quarts of transmission oilSteel wool (fine thread)Jack the front of the vehicle up, place solid blocks under the frame and lower the vehicle. Apply the E-brake. LEAVE THE JACK UNDER THE FRAME and apply 2 pumps so that you have both blocks under the frame AND a jack holding the vehicle up. (I'm not liable if you get crushed because you didn't follow my instructions).Remove any shrouds around or on the transmission. Drain the transmission oil in to the catch pan (should look like the oil drain plug). While you're down there you should replace the transmission filter as well.Pull the old pan off and make sure you have a VERY sharp puddy knife with you. Use the puddy knife to get between the transmission pan and the transmission (they usually get stuck together and need pried apart gently). Once the pan is removed use the puddy knife to scrape away the big chunks of gasket, next use the steel wool untill all you see is metal and NO old gasket material. Apply the new gasket after removing ALL the oil with a rag\towel and tighten the bolts down to spec using a torque wrench (probably 12ftlbs). Tighten like you would a tire, in a cross pattern.

My 2003 ford windstar is stuck in overdrive, what should I do?
TCC solenoid stuck or valve body. Pull the transmission pan( lots of fluid comes out) check the pan for metal (metal flake to bigger chunks) Either is a sign of a transmission rebuild. If there isn't metal make sure the fluid doesn't smell burnt(you can tell) (again rebuild the transmission, clutches gone). after that go after the valve body. Your best bet is to get a remanned one. It comes with all the solenoids. About $400.

Power Passenger door will not stay shut when closed. It quickly re-opens itself. This is intermittent. It is working today!
Hi Elaine I want you to check 2 things the striker mounted on the body may be loose and moving inwards when you close your door and the door does not catch all the way leaving the door lock in the open position / or the plastic sleeve is missing on it ==if that's ok then go to the actual door lock itself and check it with a screw driver by pushing the lock jaws closed and pulling the door handle to see if it release's spray it with silicone spray/ PB blaster /WD-40 or any lubricant you have handy I really think the striker may have loosened and this is your problem but the actual door lock could have failed you say it works then it doesn't so that makes me feel that the striker has moved also check the door handles to make sure they are not stuck in the applied open position lubricant will help here also here's a couple of photo's for you
<<<<<<<<<
check for the sleeve shown here<<< and check that the nut is tight and that the striker is not placed to far inward that the door lock can not close on it if it is to far in it will grab sometimes and not all the time and the door will be open look for metal scraping marks where it is located if it moved you will see these and also the original marks on the door post where it was originally installed
open the handle and spray lubricant in to make sure the handle is not staying stuck in the open position
spray the handle through the opening when you pull the lever to make sure that it is not staying in the open position
<<<<<<<<<<<<
check the lock jaws by pushing with the screw driver and pulling the door handle to observe the lock function and lubricate here<<<<<<<< I the lock is not functioning you have to get a new one I hope this helped you out Good Luck
