youve probabally broken a shift fork and you will need to take the transmission in to be refurbished. If your shifter moves freely it could be that your shifter itself has broken which is a much cheaper fix. If you can dissassembel the shifter assembly and check for any serious brakes thats the simple fix. Otherwise take it in and get it looked over as a transmission overhaul is not something that you can do yourself without serious training, patience and organization...

Sorry no idea here iam a europeon mechanic with limited experiance in auto boxes ,but on the back of the torque converter is two lugs that drive the front oil pump and i can only suspect that you didnt line these up ,when you change a auto box you mount the torque converter onto the gearbox first then put the whole assembly in not leave the converter on the engine and push the box up or you end up with a problem like this

i would say you may want to look into your intake gaskets

it sounds like its not getting enough fuel pressure that it need to run it

Best take it to a repair shop. If your removing air intake ducting and starting the vehicle,you don't understand the technology.

Trudy I'm not 100percent sure but it sounds like the unit may be bad, I have a chevy cobalt that the radio went bad and the cd player still played the when set in the radio position the face went black and did all kinds of crazy stuff. This information is on the cover for the fuse panel and in your owners manual. This is located on the drivers side next to the battery and it will be a 20A fuse (30A for convertible)..

It is located on the driver side under the dash and it is plugged into the fuse block. If you are sitting in the drivers seat it will be above your left foot.

Sounds like time for a new engine to me. (severe engine damage due to oil loss or overheating)

there should be an adjuster ring attached to the headlight housing. It will likely be a hex bolt or a allen key to adjust it. There should be one for vertical tilt and one for horizontal angle. They will generally be located right by the bulb housing (where you insert the bulb into the headlight.
