My wipers dont work any ideas why
Do you have a tilt column? If so try to move it up and down while the switch is on for the wipers. If they move you could have a wire broke on the column harness. Usually wipers just do not go out.
I have a 92 ford f150 i need to take the pilot
I have dealt with this problem before. Fill the pilot bearing and the space behind it with as much grease as you can. Then, with a clutch alignment tool, or something of an identical outer diameter (which should be the same as the inner diameter of the pilot bearing) push into the center, and begin tapping the tool with a hammer. This should force the bearing out. It is messy, and it may take a while, but it works.
What size engine is in 1992 Ford pick up
There are a few ways to know what size engine you have. First, if the engine is the original that came with the truck, look at the sticker on the hood stating info about smog or EPA compliance...it also has the info about the size of motor you have in the truck.
The next thing would be to research the VIN number. Each number/letter means something about the truck.
Have you tried researching any of the two? Do you know if it is the original motor?
Low mileage, 10-12 mpg hwy. replaced plugs, wires,
Considering the age of your truck I'm also thinking about the wear on all rotating parts. The more rust and/or lack of grease such as in the transfer case, the more resistance. Even rusty brakes that don't release as soon as you let off the pedal makes a difference. I'm also considering the amount of engine sludge, and how the transmission is shifting. If it is too slow to engage then it hangs at the top of every gear and burns more fuel.
I have a 1992 F150 4.9L. couple weeks ago it
1) Have a look at the starter relay. Pull it out and ease the cover off and then check out the state of the solder joints. If any are dry and or there are signs of annular cracking around any of the power pins simply reheat with soldering iron to make good.
2) Check out your idle air control valve. Clean the throttle body interior and passageways to and from the IAC. Check that the valve is free to open and that it opens when at idle.
3) Check out your fuel pressure regulator (FPR). It sits on the end of your fuel rail. When the car is idling pull the vacuum line from it. The engine revs should pick up for a few seconds before running roughly. If you do not get this response apply vacuum to the FPR and this should cause the engine revs to drop. If by applying suction you pull fuel throught he vacuum port then the FPR needs changing
4) Lastly check all vacuum lines. Spray suspect areas with WD40 and if there is a leak there the engine will jump slightly in revs.
I have a 1992 5.8

I have a 1992 ford f-150, the fuel pumps cut on
Try replacing the Fuel Tank Selector Switch, if you have two fuel tanks, remove it and inspect the back of it where the wire connector goes, inspect for burns also check the connector itself check for burns as well. Good Luck.
