On my 1992 Ford F150,Seems that my fuel line is

Check the fuel pressure regulator by pulling the vacuum hose off and look for fuel if any fuel drips out tor you see any raw fuel then the regulator is faulty. If the regulator checks out to be good then check your fuel pressure it should be 45-60 psi if its the 4.9 c.i. 6 cylinder motor and if its the 5.0 or the 5.8 V-8 motor then it should be 35-45 psi with the ignition on and engine off.

Fuel pump location on ford f150 how many are there

Norman Thomas is correct, you have an electric pump located inside each fuel tank. If one tank works, but not the other a bad pump is the most likely cause. If neither tank will supply fuel, most likely there is an issue with supplying power to the tank switching valve or in the tank selection switch, itself.

How would you pinch off

Use vise grips. If possible also bend the line to pinch (in addition to the vise grips if necessary). Be sure there is only one, Some of the newer Ford trucks have more than one fuel line!

Starts great when cold, once

It could be a number of things. FIRST, you need to find out what is missing or malfunctioning when it is refusing to start. The easiest way is to pull a spark plug wire and check for spark while the engine is not starting. If you have a strong, BRIGHT BLUE spark, then it would be safe to assume that the ignition system is OK and that the problem is most likely being caused by the fuel system (something like a malfunctioning Engine Coolant Temperature [ECT] sensor). If there is weak or no spark, then the ignition system is at fault and the ignition system needs to be diagnosed (bad TFI Module, Ignition coil breaking down when it gets hot, etc.).

Checking the Engine Control Module (ECM) for fault codes would not be a bad place to start either. There may likely be a fault code that will tell you what is going on.

1992 5.0 ford bronco oil

old man the engine is old too. the rings do not seat well against the cylinder walls anymore, same with the valves. this creates "blow by", meaning crank case stuff is going through the PCV valve into the air cleaner. take a look at the inside of the valve and the PCV hose and you will find oil residue. time for a rebuild, it has more than done its job.

Black smoke is too much fuel. Blue smoke is burning oil.
White smoke is a sign that coolant is getting into the combustion chamber. See if your coolant is getting used up. See if your oil is milky, or also getting used up. You can have some tests done to see the condition of your engine...like compression test, and a leak down test, to see how good your internal components are holding up.

1992 ford f150 302 engine. Oil is leaking in to

It is more likely that the oil is coming into the air cleaner by way of the CrankCase Vent.
There should be a tube that goes from one of the Valve Covers directly to the Air Cleaner.

Inside the AirCleaner Housing, there is the Air Filter, but there should also be a much smaller filter, sort of held in a little box, where the tube from the valve cover comes in.

This condition usually manifests when the vehicle has very high miles. It is caused by excessive BlowBy in the cylinders to the CrankCase. It will help to Change the Positive CrankCase Ventilation Valve. If it is plugged, it will make the situation worse. So, get a new PVC valve, and that is about all you can do, except to keep the air cleaner new, and the oil topped off.

I have a 1994 Ford

This transmission was a problematic transmission for Ford. The problem is a shift solenoid and or another valve malfunction in the valve body. The only way you are going to solve the problem is to place some line pressure gages on the ports that allow the taps to do so. This will tell you what is going on as far as pressures are concerned. I have rebuilt many of these transmissions. If you trailer tow a lot and the tranny has high mileage on it then it is probably had it. They are not good for many miles if you put them into hard service. Like I said a very problematic transmission. Sorry I can't help more, but I would have to have the tranny to check the options. If you take it to a tranny shop they will more than likely replace it with a rebuilt unit. Be prepared to shell out around $3800 dollars for the tranny.

Ford 93 flare side 5.0manualtrans

Welcome to Fixya

The engine needs three basic things, spark, fuel and compression. If your missing one of those it will not start. Good way to start with is to check if you have spark in your engine. If your engine cranks normally but will not start because it has no spark, or it stalls and won't restart because it has no spark, the problem may be due to any of the following: A bad pickup inside the distributor (on engines that have a distributor), a stripped distributor drive gear (common problem with plastic distributor drive gears), broken, loose or corroded wires from the pickup to the ignition module or PCM.

A bad crankshaft position (CKP) sensor (on engines that do not have a distributor), or broken, loose or corroded wires from the sensor to the PCM.

A bad ignition module (on engines that have a distributor or use an ignition module separate from the PCM)

A bad ignition coil (on engines that have a distributor and a single coil)

A bad rotor or distributor cap (cracks or carbon tracks that are allowing the spark to short to ground)

Faulty ignition switch.

How to check for spark:

Remove a plug wire and insert an old spark plug or a spark plug tester into the end of the wire (the plug boot). Place the spark plug on a metal surface on the engine, or ground the spark plug tester to the engine. Then crank the engine to check for a spark. No spark indicates an ignition problem.

Let me know the results.
