How to remove and replace starter motor

Starters are pretty easy to pull. Typically only 2 bolts hole it in. 1. disconnect positive lead from the battery. 2. Disconnect all wires from starter and solenoid. 3. Remove nuts/bolts from starter. 4. Starter should come right off. to replace, reverse above steps.

How to replace a starter on 98 mustang

Start by unhooking your battery. Remove the 2 bolts that hold the starter to the engine block. Remove the 2 wires that are attached to the starter solenoid. Then remove the starter from the vehicle, this part is kinda tricky as there is only one way that it will come out and you have to really finagle it to work it out. then install the new one in the reverse order.

Replaced ignition key cylinder and keys in a 1998 Ford mustang. Now car won't start.

if your car has a factory alarm it may be that you disabled the ignition , you need to have a professional do this kind of work as their is a code that needs to be entered into the computer , only a mechanic has the equipment do to it.

I checke the fuse and the Relay switch. and it was all fine

I believe the previous person whom answered your previous question on the NO Start asked you if you had pressed your Fuel Pump Inertia switch in to Reset it? I saw that you had indeed replaced the fuel pump relay but I didn't see that you had done this yet. I've attached a picture of the Fuel Pump Inertia switch location on your 1998 stang. Hope this helps you on your no start. I hatre it when you try and do something to improve your baby and she slaps you in the face with another issue. Try this get back to us. here. In the drivers side trunk there is a red button it's the fuel pump shut off switch when you changed the battery something mite have triggered the switch to trip if not could be the mass air flow sensor or fuel pump shorted out some how to check that turn the key to on position and see if you hear it come on it will about 3 to 5 seconds you should hear it if not check that switch and fuse what you describe sounds like a fuel issue
