It sounds like the battery is flat, this could be because the alternator has not charged it or something has drained the battery or the battery is faulty! What lights are flickering? We're any dash lights on prior to you not being able to start the car?

Well that seems like a pretty simple but aggrevating fix, either the ground wire or power supply wire contact has been broken. The odometer, is it coming on? I am assuming all from this model year have the digital odometer which lights up. First thing I'd do is look under the dash at every wire that might have come loose due to being kicked by a foot or a plug damaged somehow. If none of them are damaged or obviously broken then check the back of the light switch next and then last look at the back of the guages.

Dodge 2000 Intrepid stalling on Traffic Light - This is caused by either wrong amount of Fuel or Air mixing in Idle condition. Please check fuel pressure at Idle which should be at least 38 psi and should go up when you press the accelerator. If fuel pressure is okay then Clean out the Throttle body carefully. find the fuel lines to the motor (silver line on top of fuel injectors) if there is a bleed valve (looks like a tire inflation valve) press it with something to open it (beware the spray) have a friend turn the motor over to see if you are getting fuel...if so when fuel line has pressure try starting again

Open trunk, pull carpet back (may have to undo some fasteners). The tail light assembly should be visible. Unscrew the plastic fasteners to the tail light. The whole tail light assembly should now be able to be removed from the outside of the car. You will see the individual bulb sockets where the wires lead to the bulbs. Twist to remove. Take the burned out bulb to the car parts store. Reverse these steps to reassemble.

check your ht leads ,coil packs are all functional .then check your spark plugs are not fowled.if this is not the cause it will be your egr valve is not opening correctly.buy a diagnostic scan tool of ebay for around $40 it will pay for its self with time . Probably have to replace the fuel pump in the tank. Older pumps don't like running out of gas. You can hit the bottom of the tank in the middle with a piece of wood or a rubber mallet. This jars the pump. If it comes back on, you will still need to replace it.

Hi Roshed, Did you put enough gas in? If car is not on level surface,it could take 3-4 gallons to supply fuel pump,which is inside fuel tank.You can check whether pump is working or not by removing filler cap and listening for a 'whirring' sound when an assistant turns the key to ON not START, just off to on.if you can't hear anything,check fuel emergency shut off; a circuit breaker,usually in the trunk,behind the carpet on inner fender 'wall' see owners manual.Check for blown fuse. If you tried starting before realizing it was empty,fuel pump will probably need to be replaced,as the fuel 'lubricates' the pump,and they're quickly damaged if run dry.Good Luck

Change bulbs, if not bulbs the brake switch which is normally just mounted above the foot brake lever

Replace the neutral safety switch. Also called the range selector switch. This will take care of both problems.

The Timing is computer controlled. You would need a computer with the Dodge factory interface and the connectors that hook it to your car to adjust the timing. If the timing belt has been changed and it was installed a tooth or two off it will need to be removed and installed correctly.

The fault appears to be in the plug. First thing to do is take a picture of it for future reference. Second disconnect the sensor and look at the plugs, if it is the sensor side plug that is damaged yes a new one will fix it. However if the engine side plug is damaged you'll probably have to get a new plug. However the plug pins may just be loose, or have a faulty connection between the wires and pins, which could probably be fixed by soldering the wire. Lastly the spring terminals in the receiving side may be loose or broken, they may can be bent back into shape so they make constant contact.
