How to replace freeze plug
Clear enough work area around the leaking plug.
Using a 1/4" wide chisel, or suitable strong screwdriver, "hook out" the defective plug.
Clean and prepare the orifice in the Block or Head.
Get the correct size replacement from your Local Auto store or Dealer.
Coat the outer installation contact area, on the plug, with "Thread dough" and with a suitable drifting tool ,or socket, tap the plug into position, until it is flush. These plugs are an 'Interference" fit. {PRESSURE}.
Not in enough, or too far in, and it will leak again.
Allow to set dry, fill with fresh Antifreeze mix, and check for leakage. Reassemble work area, startup.. warm up,, and check again for leaks... No Leaks,,,,, Job done!
