Clear code p0449

You will need to hook up a scan tool to the link under the dash by the steering wheel and reset the code. You can try to remove the positive battery cable and leave if off for about 30 minutes and sometimes that will allow the computer to reset but the best thing do is hookup a scan tool and reset the code.

On a 2005 chevy suburban my brake lights will come

the brake light switch is near the brake pedal it should have a wire (or wires) attached to it, it is activated when you push the brake pedal in, they are usually spring loaded & it could be sticking just give it a spray with WD 40 & see if that fixes it, if not it may have to be replaced.........hope this helps.......cheers.

I ran out of gas with 1/8 showing on the gauge

I don't always agree with the dealership and there innovations. It does sound like you need a fuel pump. the sock or p/u tube, at the bottom of the pump has come off. GM fuel pumps are usually good for 100K+ miles but unless you can verify that the filter inside the tank is still doing its job. you may compound your problem by sending unfiltered fuel to your injectors. Good luck.

How hard is it to change out a Radiator on a 2003

If you are a little mechanically inclined it is fairly easy. It just takes patience and time. The hardest to do is to remove the tranny cooler lines and oil cooler lines from rad. Try spraying them with WD 40 or equivalent when the rad is hot if you can if not spray it cold. let it sit for a couple of hours and then try to unfasten them.
