How do you change the starter on a 2002 Chevrolet
unhook the battery, then you will need to get under the vehicle, find the starter, remove the battery cable and the solenoid wires, then the two starter bolts, and the starter will come off. If there are metal shims, don't lose them, as they will go back on with the new starter. Installation is the reverse of removal.
2002 Chevy express no blower on a/c or heat other
You need to replace the resistor that controls the speeds. When they go bad, you are left with only hight speed. Depending on your model it is either in the engine compartment on the passanger side near the blower or under the passanger side of the dash just below and to the left of the blower. It is relatively easy to replace. Just unplug the connection and remove the few screws.
Hope this helps.
2000 chevy express 4.3 V-6 trouble codes 300,174. checked plugs,
It sounds like the fuel injectors are leaking or faulty. You should have an engine miss-fire code in the computer. Check the fuel pressure and compare to factory specs.
Did you clear codes or disconnect the battery? When you disconnect the battery the computer runs on a basic program until it re-learns.
Engine code p0420 on 2002 Chevrolet Express Van V8
Hello!
the code you speak of relates strictly to the catalytic converter. it is possible there is a faulty sensor, however that choice is highly unlikely. Catalytic converters carry a 5/50 7/70 and 8/80 warranty depending upoin the state you live in...this may be a repair covered under manufacturers warranty. this code is becoming very prevelant in many auto lines as a result of the insurgence of ethanol dilution of our fuels. the "10%" ethanol sticker is located on most pumps. Most vehicles on the road today are not flex fuel capable and this ethanol is wreaking havoc on our fuel and emission systems, especially the catalytic converters. the converters are caked with deposits from the ethanol, reducing its effeciency. if your have access to well worth branded products (not available in ANY parts store, typicaly dealers and repair shops only) try adding on succesive tank loads of fuel their product called Octi-Plus. this products helps remove ethanol products, and very well may save yoiu big $$$ for that converter repair bill...i hope this helps..check out this link....
