these vehicles get moisture in the distributor cap. replace those with GM ONLY parts. When you go to install the cap, put a bead of wheel bearing grease on the outside of the cap only where it seals to the distributor base. This will keep out the moisture which causes corrosion.

You will need to scan the computer for trouble codes. You can buy an inexpensive code reader for about $50 and do this yourself. You can call your local parts store and see if they can do this for you. You can bring it to your local shop and have them run a diagnosis there is usually a charge for this. Chevy ran a wire from the starter solonoid that powered the headlights. I have found te wire coroded and also there is a fusible link wire itis on the starter solonoid post from the battery>

check see if engine getting fuel.listen for fuel pump operation with ignition switch on, could have blowed fuel pump fuse or bad relay.fuel pump wire harness could have short.code scan for pcm fault.if you have major intake leak vechicle wont start.

It will be the same way on each side, you will start by removing the wheel, next you will remove the axle nut, next you will remove the lower balljoint nut and then use a balljiont fork to slpilt apart this will break free the lower control arm from the spindle, you will then use a pry bar to pry the lower arm down and pull spindle to side you will need to then tap axle out from spindle tie spindle out of the way, note watch out not to break abs connection wirem, unplug it if needed, next put a small pan under the inside axle area to catch any ****** oil that leaks when you remove axle from ******. using a long screwdriver or pry bar stick it between axle and ****** and give it a pull to break free axle from ****** and then slide axle out, to install reverse directions. hope this helps.

I had a 95 Astro that acted in a similar way. Mine was the fuel pump. I wonder if your ground is loose for the pump circuit or if there is a relay dying on you. Does it act differently with a change from hot to cold weather? A loose ground would do that. You could also have a faulty pump. I heard stories of people getting non-GM approved pumps that failed or had to low a PSI to accurately supply the engine with fuel. Is it getting adequate fuel pressure (50-60 PSI). It should be 60 psi but I was told my 50psi was within GM specs. Mine eventually drank the radiator due to a blown head gasket that no one ever properly diagnosed.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. You need to locate the wiper motor and there is a black panel where the wires hook up to it, remove the three screws. Then unplug it and pull out the wiper module. That is your relay. Just a note, this is a common problem in these vehicles.
