Though this responce may be out of place n regards to an issue I had w/ my 97' astro van. It continued hearing a (rather annoying) clicking - ticking noise that would increase in speed (& just slightly louder) when I pressed on the accelerator, but when letting off, it would always slow back down to what it sounded like at idle speed. This went on for quite a long while, until I "shockingly" found that, in fact, that one of the wires (if I recall, it being the main coil wire) was arcing/sparking (clicking-ticking noise) on the transmission fill tube or dipstick tube. You could see the tiny spark as it was happening only at night or w/ very low light. Just fyi, don't do as I did, by attempting to move or touch the wires as the vehicle is running or even when cranking the engine over to start! Haha, okay laugh it up, but if it happens to you (or when) you'll surely find it to be a rather "shocking" experience!! On a side note, I think this may have also been related to a problem I had (only on occasion for some reason) w/ the van not starting or turning over at all. So, after moving and securing the wire as they should be, (fastened to a plastic retaining clip/clasp that holds them in place), the annoying clicking - ticking noise had completely stopped occuring. If this could be the issue anyone is having, I hope this might help you out! Good Luck! P.S. although mine held up for awhile, your wire(s) may need to be replaced w/ new ones. And, I suppose this could happen to almost any model vehicle really, so I wouldn't rule this out when troubleshooting similar issues.

You may have to get your wheels re ballanced if you lost one of the weight's on the rim. The other thing to is a bent rim if you hit a large pot hole or crub and last to see if the tire it self has funny wear patterns on the treads.
Other things to look for if your wheels are ok. Check the ball joints Check the tie rod ends Check and pay attention to the Idler and Pitman arm. Your looking for any excessive movments
A good way is to grease all that is mentioned above and see if the vibration is gone.
Lost thing would be the brake rotors but you'ld now that by having vibrations throught out any speed when you apply the brakes to slow down.

Could be the speed sensor or the gear that drives it. If yours is digital, could be the motor in the dash that turns the speedometer needle.

The control module is located just behind the ignition coil. Sorta hard to get to but we got it and the van is running great.

check for every posible loose ground arrownd the engine block
i had foud that many times and technicians have very hard time to find it if you see some thing wires atached to the engine block pull gently on it to see if they are open internally
and check also for clean and tie circuits at batterie and starter

It's part of the starter. The large wire from the battery connects to it

I would say the trans is shot & needs to be replaced or rebuilt

check if the problem is when the petrol level is low in the tank.( possible intake problem rust problem.) Run fault codes to check for venting problems.

what fuse is blowing, look in that sym for a hot to ground

The rear hatch passenger door is impeded by the trim on the top of the rear bumper and not easily noted

You need to see what codes are stored. That will tell you why the engine light is on and more than likely why its running poorly. It may also keep you from spending more money by just throwing parts at it.
Many auto parts store will hook up a code reader for free to help you out.... and help them make a sale.

Sounds like a possible vaccume hose leak?

Are you referring to the oil filter? It is located under the engine on the drivers side just in front of the flywheel cover on the transmission. The drain plug is a 15mm bolt.

Did you check the crank sensor wire, it may be hitting the hot exhaust. does the wire going to fuel pump have a problem and is shorting out. ECM 1 ..... then there are 5 components that this fuse feeds 1-crank sensor 2- all injectors 3- ECM 4- electronic ignition control module 5- ignition coil - check for a bad wire in these areas.
