Wow! This is a very detailed job. There is quite a bit to do. I would suggest going to the library and checking out the Chilton's manual. If you get instructions on here. Someone may leave out some steps. It is quite a job to change a CV joint. And sometimes takes an air hammer to get the ball joints off. And without the proper aligning tools you will need to have the vehicle aligned when you are done.

while running, the alternator should be putting out 13.2 to 13.8 volts.

It would seem that you have checked/replaced most if not all of the usual suspects. Pls try:
1. start the engine on a dark night with the hood up. check for any arcing/high voltage spark from any of the high tension wires;
2. you may want to reconsider this step! run the engine, pull the spark plug wires (carefully, extremely high voltage) one at a time and note if the idle will not change. If no change that plug is not firing;
3. check the ignition B+12 going to the ignition coil primary terminal. If it is physically in contact with the A/C hose/line, it may be loosing a few strands inside the insulation, replace.

Other than the above, a few more checks (but not as simple):
a. check that the fuel pressure is between 50 to 66 psi;
b. replace your plugs to AC Delco CR43TSM or CR43TS or 41-803 Platinums.

This page may be of additional informative if not an interesting read. To my knowledge, a 1995 Astro van shares the same W engine with a GMC Safari and therefore would have the same concerns/solution.

The problem will either be a faulty master window switch on the driver door, or a broken wire at the master window switch, or most likely the problem will be a broken wire inside of the weather boot that runs between the door and the body of the vehicle, and most likely it will be inside of the weather boot for the driver side door. If there is power going through the master window switch then look for a broken wire.

You have a short to power check you relay for your interior lights

Check the base plate gasket under the throttle body, some time the gasket start to leak, and will cause a high idle, if possible with engine running get some water and pore it at the base of the throttle bode, you will hear a suction sound, that's the gasket, replace it.

charge it to see if it comes on after adding r134a.

outside door handle? the door panel needs to be removed and the two 10MM nuts that hold the handle on removed and the plastic clip that holds the rod into the handle neeeds to be rooled back so the rod can be lifted out then with the nuts removed the handle can be wiggled free.

install a fuel pressure guage and check pressure should be over 45 lbs, also check for signal at the injectors with a noid light

sounds like egr solenoid malfunction or egr itself

Its located on the passenger side firewall in the engine compartment.If unsure which relay it is it has a purple wire running to it this is the power wire to the fuel pump.

The fuse box is located on the passenger side of dashboard, should be(not counting the large ones), 4th row from the left 3rd one down.

what kind do you replace it with? Cost?? if its a cheaper compressor that may be the problem, quality of the part

call your local dealer thay will give you one for very chep you just need you vin number. i have a 1998 and got me one for 28.00

Have you checked it for fuel pressure?

its likely they removed the plug coming from the switch to jump it, but they may have just cut the wires, Have a look below the steering column and switch and you may see what they have done.
