If the belt and fluid levels are correct there is a good chance it may be a bigger problem. The power steering pump may be the fault. At lower speeds a worn pump isn't turning fast enough to push enough fluid. When you REV the engine your speeding up the pump pushing more fluid. Get the pump checked. If that's ok your possibly looking at a problem with the rack itself. ($$$ Ouch!).

if the truck been sitting for a while might be condensed water in catalytic u try to drive see if goes away otherwise u have coolant leak down the exhaust vaporizing cylinder head area or idle control valve if equipped controlled by coolant

Start motor run slowly? The exhaust is near the motor and you will need service it and correct this condition Starter work but engine doesn't star, Most probably a bad coil

Window fuse's and relay's may be up under driver or passenger side dash or behind glove box, under the hood and even under the seats, and finally on the ends of the dash. All passenger power windows and locks are controlled thru and get power from the master control switch on the drivers door.Drivers door window gets used the most so it could be the motor, window switch, relay or fuse.Could also be a broken wire in the rubber boot going from the door to the body. You will have to eliminate each till you find the culprit. Check that all switches return to neutral when released.The motor and the relay are the most likely to cause this problem. Try swapping the relay with a working window relay. If it still doesn't work, remove the door panel and remove the window motor.Turn the motor shaft in both directions by hand several turns. Then plug the motor in and see if the switch will now run the motor. Sometimes that's all it takes to get it working again. I have had to do this with brand new motors. If voltage is not present at the motor connector, either a bad switch or a broken wire exists. Make sure to check for voltage coming to that windows switch. Actually, GM use's a circuit breaker type relay for each window and one fuse for all the circuit breakers.Try this....Open the door, turn the key to the ON position without starting the engine and everything that makes noise is off. Lean down placing your ears close to the bottom center of the door or at the speaker grill. Press the window switch UP and DOWN. Listen for the window motor. If heard the drive is damaged. If not heard, turn key off and locate and replace the relay with one of the other window relays. Check window again. If it works now, get a new relay. More often than not, removing the motor and turning it by hand will get it working good as new. I have had to do that with Brand New motors! So try it.If all has failed, with the door panel still off, check for voltage at the motor connector when pushing the window switch. No voltage means its the switch, especially if its a auto down or up switch.

how was it hooked up before you started working on it. the black wire is the negative cable and that is the body ground and most bolt it to the engine or a bracket and there is a short wire sometimes and that will goto the body near the battery. now that is done. the positive red wire goes to the starter and or a block that has a wire going to the starter. the block is more like a metal strip with a bunch of bolts sticking out and the wires should be all red. that is mounted to the firewall and is plastic so it does not ground to the body.the short wire from the positive red cable is not always used. so if it was not hooked to anything leave it alone.

control head is bad

It seems to be a ground defect on right side. Do you have the same bulb's number . What about the front flasher. remove right rear lamp assembly remove connector measure voltage between ground and current .reconnect it measure voltage at bulb socket. you should find your problems hope it helps

The knock sensor changes the timing so internal engine damage won't happen. If you bypass it or disconnect it you risk a catastrophic engine failure.

with timing light hook to battery terminal and number 1 cylinder wire then loose bolt at distributor turn distributor to set timing TDC or 0 degree. tight bolt at distributor without changing the timing hope it helps

you can start with spark (yes or no)-in the distrubiter under cap you have a electronic spark control moudel you have a coil in the top of distrubiter cap
