Having the same issue since replacing the main rear brake line (the brake line from the master cylinder to the rear hydraulic block, which branches off to each rear wheel. Last week the pedal hit the floor and I replaced one of the rear brake lines. Then a few days later the same thing happened again, this time the main line to the rear was leaking. Replaced this, and now getting no leaks, but the brakes don't come on until the pedal is basically on the floor.
Bled off the brakes and there's fluid everywhere from front to back at all connections, no air, but my pedal travel is still to the floor before any brakes come on. Also, no leaks anymore, and the master cylinder reservoir is full. Only thing is that about 6 months ago we replaced the master cyl and all was well, but there are 2 dump valves on my truck just underneath this, and one was stuck. any ideas?
do you have a self bleeder kit? first off, you have to bleed the master cyl back into its self and the combination valve before you go to the wheels. when you do that, I think you will find that you have air in the lines. disconnect both brake lines from the master cyl and put the bleeder kit fittings on the master cyl, then put the rubber tubing with the kit on the fittings and submerge it in the brake reservoir. make sure its full. then pump the pedal until you get a hard pedal. if that is the case, reconnect the lines to the master, then have an assistant pump up the brake pedal with the engine off, and bleed the combination valve which should be connected to the master by steel tubing. pump it up, then hold it down, and crack the fittings loose, one at a time until the pedal goes about half way down, but do not release the brake pedal until the line is tight again, otherwise you will **** air in the lines. after you do all that, go to the farthest caliper or wheel cylynder from the master and bleed that with the same technique, and dont release the pedal until you close the bleeder screw. unless you have a major prob, this will work.

I have changed out the swith and the blower motor (which was squeeling and needed changing anyway) but the blower fan works on high only. I read something about a blower motor resistor wire harness. This may be what I need but where is this located? I only have a sigle connection + ground at the motor does the resistor wiring harness plug into the switch itself? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Steve
the resister is usually located in the air box above the passengers feet ,high indicates the resistor needs to be replaced

how to replace thermostat on 1995 chevy silverado 350 engine
Locate the upper radiator hose and follow it away from the radiator. At the other end is a waterneck with several sensors on top. Disconnect these sensors being careful not to break them. Remove upper radiator hose and hold it above top of radiator. Remove bolts holding down the waterneck. Pull thermostat from seat and clean seat and inside edge of waterneck.Observe which direction the thermostat is setting when you remove it, because the new one must go back in the same way. If it has a rubber gasket on it simply replace everything the same way it came out. If not, you should use a new gasket and gasket sealer aruond the new thermostat when you put it back together.

i have a 1995 chevy k 1500 350 tbi it hesitates when trying to accelerate changed plugs wires cap and rotor it dose have aftermarket tbi and performance intake it dose it hot or cold thanks
hesitation with TBI is sometimes a dirty Injector, make sure you have a good fan pattern on the injector and make sure its responcive. use a nylon wire brush to clean the tip, and alot of carb cleaner, also make sure that your butterfly moves freely, they tend to get gue/carbon build up on them and this will also cause a hesitation

blower motor works but air only come from bottom vent. Defrost setting and all top vents do not work.
these trucks have 3 actuators. none of these other people have a clue obviously. theres one directly to the right side of the gas pedal. theres another one directly behind the tape player deck. there is a third one behind and just below the glove box. the one behind the tape deck controls between hot and cold air. the one near the gas pedal controls A/C. the one beneath/behind the glove box controls where the air blows. please dont believe these people. there is a video on youtube that shows the location of all the actuators and shows the actuators while installed in their place.
