1995 chevy k1500 misfire and no start
The temperature sensor (the 2-wire one for the computer) are problematic on these trucks. Another problem area that commonly arises are the ground wires located on the thermostat housing bolt; they are often rotted out or broken, and this electrical connection is CRITICAL for proper engine operation. Make sure you address these two things before you shotgun any more parts at your truck. Hope this helps. Good Luck!!
Ignition relay clicks but starter won't engage
Where is this relay? A wiring diagram doesn't show any relay at all in the starting circuit. Just this: a yellow start wire out of ignition switch goes to the neutral safety switch (if manual, a clutch start switch on the clutch pedal: if automatic a transmission range switch); From the safety switch a purple wire to the starter solenoid on the starter motor. Only other place to check is a "crank" fuse in the instrument panel fuse block- a 10 amp fuse in position 8 of the block.
Is the click you hear possibly from the starter solenoid? If it is, that means key switch part of circuit to the solenoid is good. Either starter motor is bad, or battery connections to starter and to battery ground may be bad, check them first.
Oil pressure gauge goes crazy!
You had better check your dipstick and see if you have any oil showing on the stick? Sounds like your oil pump pickup is uncovering in a turn and cavitating which is caused by low oil quantity.
Break line broke replaced no leaks can't get break paddle99 Chevy
Sounds like you may have an air bubble in the master cylinder. The most effective way to deal with that is getting a master cylinder bleeder kit from your local parts store - make sure it has the metal clips that will hold the hoses in the master cylinder. Install line adapters after removing brake lines from the master. top up the fluid in the master and install hose clips, making sure the end of the hoses are in the brake fluid at least 1 inch. Slowly pump the brake pedal, making sure you bottom out the pedal and release SLOWLY so you don\'t suck air into the hoses - have a helper watch the fluid level in the master cylinder and the bubble production. The fluid level should not sink during this procedure - if it does, then you may have a faulty master cylinder. Pump until you have no more bubbles. If the bubbles don\'t stop, then you have a faulty master cylinder. Hope this helps!!
