Sounds the EGR valve and EVP sen is bad even if you tested it. The EGR valve cntrols idle and if carbon up will make the car stall or idle high and low (rpms going up and down) This was common on all cars during that time. I would say replace the EGR valve and senosr. This should take care of the problem. One more thing have the fuel pressure check on the car.

did you clean your engine coolant system you might have some dirt inside the block so the coolant can not pass and check your temp sensor it is possible it could be defect.

Most likely a blown fuel pressure regulator. Located on the fuel rail near the throttle body. Remove vacuum hose and turn key on, do not start, and look for fuel exiting the vacuum port. If it is, replace it.

inside door pull corner piece behind mirror and you should see bolts or torx screws. if electric the same but also follow wiring to unplug

You MUST bleed all air from the lines . There is a bleeder near the air filter and one by the belts . If it continues to over heat , then u have a blown headgasket .

you can only push this detent pin in when ignition is in on position try to put key that snapped in and wriggle it around to try and turn ignition to on position so then you can remove barrel
if cant turn need to change whole assembly by un doing shear pin for clamp that holds whole assembly on steering column or do what some lock smiths do drill out old barrel slowly and going up in drill sizes until barrel comes out from housing without damaging housing

better clean the fuel pump

yes you can. use carb cleaner. and its not a cheap part on this car it is 150 bucks because it is an electric egr.
