1994 gmc sonoma with alternator

Try checking the gauge inside the truck
If it reads wrong - not to worry - just carry on as it is.

Try turning everything on - then CAREFULLY remove the NEGATIVE battery cable - if the truck continues to run WELL - the problem is most likely the gauge.

Check it the local battery store - free.

TEST IF THERE IS POWER GOING INTO THE COIL. A FAULTY IGNITION CAN ALSO CAUSE THIS PROBLEM AS IT DO NOT ALLOW CURRENT TO THE COIL.

I have changed the fuel

Did it do this before you installed the fuel filter? If it did not, then you might want to double check and make sure the fuel filter was installed in the correct manner. They do go in a specific way.

I have a 1994 gmc

Check your timing belt and timing. It sounds like your timing is off. If not, have your fuel pressure checked. It may be time for a new fuel filter. I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jeremy_69f3cc28d95bf514

Leaking gasoline from tank or sendig unit how

That all depends on the leak. Either way you have to remove the tank. Using a large piece of wood that is about the size of the bottom of the tank, and a floor jack, slowly remove the bolts at one end of the straps which hold the tank in place. Make sure the tank is firmly supported. Take thke bolts out of the filler neck by opening the filler door, there should be three bolts, and if possible remove the fuel lines and the electrical plug before youstart bringing it down, Lower the gas tank slowly. If it is the sending unit, there is an o-ring that seals it in the gas tank, if it is a hole in the tank, you can try a repair kit, but in my experience, it doesn't work all that well.

Fuel Pump Fuse Blows. It first started when I

Open the hood. Those vehicles have a buss bar on the inside of the drivers side front fender. ( a buss bar is a strip of plastic, housing locations for wiring connectors running to various components on your car. They are secured to each post by a phillips head screw.) One of those locations is the "hot" for your fuel pump. If by chance you have an exposed section of that wire touching metal somewhere, it will blow the fuse. maybe someone has wired something else to it...causing it to blow.

Hi, I'm not sure what those codes stand for or what part(s) the codes are referring to but a local parts store in your area should be able to look it up and tell you. My experience with checks engine lights coming on have always been because of the oxygen sensor. Good luck if you haven't found your problem already.

WHEN DRIVING THE TRUCK DOES NOT HAVE ANY POWER AND

Sounds like your truck is misfiring.I would check your sparkplugs and spark plug wires. If they look good its probly a its probly a coil pack. There are 2 of them and they should be located together on passenger side of motor. easiest way to get to them is probly take off passenger front tire and list up rubber flap and they should be right there. only bolts per each one.
