Check the antifreeze level you might have an air pocket in the engine

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak. Use a can of brake parts cleaner to check for the leak. Spray you vacuum lines and listen for the engine RPM to change and when it dose you will have found your leak.

its an electric pump installed in the top of the tank with the inlet/outlet.

There should be an oil filler on top of the engine. These often have an image of an oil can on them.

There are 2 fuses that operate the flashers they are both relays. If both them are good then its the switch in the arm thats bad.

check out the ignition module in the distributor if there is one. they are especially wonky and control both fuel pump and ignition spark at startup.
