2002 Dodge Stratus - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Recently my check engine light came on and I did a
P0601 Internal Control Module Memory Check Sum Error
P0602 Control Module Programming Error
P0603 Internal Control Module Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Error
P0604 Internal Control Module Random Access Memory (RAM) Error
P0605 Internal Control Module Read Only Memory (ROM) Error
P0606 ECM/PCM Processor
P0607 Control Module Performance
P0608 Control Module VSS Output "A"
P0609 Control Module VSS Output "B"
P0610 Control Module Vehicle Options Error
The p0607 error says Control Module Performance. It has something to do with the Control Module for the powertrain as you indicated. But, you may be able to take your car to a transmission shop to alleviate the problem using a transmission expert.
I don't think that it doesn't have anything to do with the engine, itself, even though it's listed under a driveability related code.
Good luck on this repair.

I have a 2002 dodge status how do fix p1400 p0446 p0441 codes
code p0446 refers to evaporative emission (EVAP) system--vent control--circuit malfunction===causes wiring--EVAP canister purge valve--ECM
Code p0441 is evap system--incorrect flow detected==causes --hose connections --intake leak--EVAP canister purge valve
replace the purge valve as it is common to both codes
dodge code p1400 is related to a problem EGR system

Where are the timing marks on a 2002 Dodge Stratus 3.0 engine?
They're behind the timing gears, right side is on the edge of the valve cover and the left side you can seeit if you have covers off.
and on the gears theres a small arrow to line up marks.
Mark the timing belt before taking it off for reference later unless it broke then ignore that. I've done a couple of these and they suck.

My 02 Dodge Stratus will not shift out of Park.
If the engine starts, but wont shift out of park, you should check that your brake lights are working. The interlock solenoid is powered by the brake light switch, if the fuse is blown or if the brake light switch is bad, the car wont shift out of park...I hope this helps.

Electrical Problems, Transmission. How ever
Your problem sounds like the VALVE BODY in your transmission is sticking. I would try some Lucas Transmission Additive . It's a little pricey but it could solve your problem. If this doesn't help then you could have a transmission solenoid that is going bad. Good Luck Friend.

After having my 06 dodge
Let's start with the codes.
Po129 refers to barosensor
Po344 is a code for the camshaft position sensor
Po339 crankshaft position sensor
Po340 camshaft position circuit malfunction
Po335 crankshaft POS sensor malfunction
Po122 throttle pedal position
Item 2,3,4,5 relate to each other that s camshaft and crankshaft position sensors. Since both already show a malfunction code, it would be advisable to change.
Sometimes other codes show up because there is a relation but not that the item is bad.

I have a 2002 Dodge stratus 4 cylinder quits pulling after a few miles
the transmission filter is possible plugging up. When the car is off the fluid flows backwards through the filter into the transmission pan. Once the car is started, the fluid goes through the filter, if there is a lot of debris in the pan it will suck it up into the filter. then once the filter plugs up the fluid cant get to the clutches inside the transmission. thus it feels like neutral. similar to as if there was no fluid in the transmission. Replace the transmission filter.
